And they can rest assured that after being cast as the female superhero, Brie Larson is taking her duties seriously.

In it, she reads a Captain Marvel comic, while tucked up in bed. But the real excitement is partially tucked beneath the sheets - Brie wears the costume of the butt-kicking air force pilot.

'LARSON INDUSTRIES R&D DEPT,' she wrote, referring to research and development.

Disney and Marvel announced just last month at Comic-Con that Larson will star in Captain Marvel as Carol Danvers, who gets special powers after an alien encounter.

'Call me Captain Marvel,'  the Oscar winner wrote on Instagram with a picture of herself wearing a Marvel Studios cap.

The film is scheduled for release in March of 2019.
