You Brook strangely familiar... Made-over Gordon Ramsay, 49, appears to be morphing into BFF David Beckham's style-savvy eldest son, 17

He has been a family friend of the Beckhams for years, but it appears that the clan's famed fashion savvy has rubbed off on Gordon Ramsay.

The TV chef - best known for his foul-mouthed outbursts and craggy appearance - has undergone a very dramatic makeover in recent months, especially as he spends more time with David, Victoria and their brood in LA.

And the 49-year-old's current style inspiration seems to be none other than the couple's eldest son, Brooklyn, 17.

Father-of-four Gordon hit the red carpet for the second time in as many days on Monday evening at the Fox Summer Party in Los Angeles.

He was joined by his wife Tana, who stunned in a white summer dress, but all eyes were on his very fashionable ensemble.

The TV star sported a bomber jacket, white T-shirt and grey trainers, a favoured outfit of Brooklyn's.

Not only was the get-up strangely familiar, the restaurant owner's newly thick hair was styled into an impressive quiff, just like his best friend's son.

It's not the first time this week Gordon has taken style pointers from the Beckham boy.

Gordon's Hollywood-style makeover was no more apparent than over the weekend when he stepped out with his family in Vegas.

The star happily posed for snaps in what a appeared to be a full face of make-up.

Walking the red carpet at the Caesar's Palace 50th Anniversary Gala, the 49-year-old chef looked drastically different just days after his youthful complexion sparked more surgery rumours.

Perhaps a tad too heavy-handed with the application, the short-tempered chef sported a face full of foundation and a sweep of rouge, whilst his blonde locks were coiffed and quaffed.

Looking dapper for the event - where he received a Caesars Palace Icon Award - he donned a tailored black suit and crisp white shirt as he snuggled up to his glamorous wife Tana.

Also joining him were daughters Megan, 17, and Matilda, 14 who looked effortlessly chic for the event.

In 2010 the star admitted to having laser wrinkle removal after he woke on morning to discover his daughter trying to 'squeeze pound coins in' to the cracks on his face.

Already paranoid after being told he needed work done by Simon Cowell, the F Word star admitted: 'The lines were pretty horrific, like Scarface, and I was never embarrassed by it but my children helped me become more paranoid about it.'

Working in America also pushed him to get the treatment as he recalled that whilst in image-conscious Los Angeles, one make-up artist reacted with horror to his face, asking whether he had been in a car crash as a child.

He said: 'In LA it was all "Oh my god, when did you go through the windscreen?" You put up with it, but then you get f***ing sick of it. I listened to what Simon Cowell said, and he said, "Get it done."'

Speaking of the procedure, he revealed: 'It took four minutes each side, lasered not Botoxed. No one noticed until I mentioned it.

'When you don't say anything you're classified as a liar, so you can't win. It's got me more s*** in the past six months…'

But he remained adamant that would be the last of his cosmetic procedures

'Am I going to have any more work done? Of course I'm not going to have any more f***ing work done. The amazing guy who did it said to me, "Let's get one thing right. I am not, under any circumstances, ever going to touch that forehead."'
