Her four-year-old company has enjoyed phenomenal success.
And in an interview with Allure, Jessica Alba reflected on the people whose lives have been positively impacted by The Honest Company's products.
'I get messages all the time about our products,' the 35-year-old told the September issue of the magazine. 'We change people's lives.'

The actress was responding to a question about whether or not she believed customers were purchasing her products because of her appeal rather than the substance of her goods when she made the remark.
'You can't convert people because they're interested,' Jessica initially said of her celebrity appeal. 'What's going to convert them is [realizing], "Oh, my God, this is amazing."'

The company has been a hit, and last year was valued at $1.7 billion by Fortune.
Financial success aside, it's the stories Jessica receives from customers that stand out in her mind.
The actress cited a touching message she received from a mother, whose six-year-old daughter's eczema cleared up after they started using her company's laundry detergent and shampoo.

'That changed a six-year-old's life, and that's real,' the actress told the magazine.
Speaking of her motivation, the actress told the website: 'A, I'm a hustler. B, I've been working since I was, like, 12. I've lived all over the world; I've worked all over the world with adults and seen all these different dynamics.
'I've been part of a lot of businesses' marketing strategies, and I see how they utilize someone like me. I love learning.
'I'm a sponge. I haven't lost my thirst and desire to learn. '

The actress was pregnant with her first daughter Honor when she broke out in hives after washing her future baby girl's onesies - a reaction which horrified her, she told Vanity Fair.
'I was thinking, what if my baby has a reaction and I don’t know? What if her throat is closing? I had all this fear and anxiety because I was always so sick as a child.'
She added, 'I wanted safe and effective consumer products that were beautifully designed, accessibly priced, and easy to get.'
