Twins Haley and Emily Ferguson pull bait and switch during date with Brandon Andreen on Bachelor In Paradise

Haley Ferguson and her sister Emily already caused confusion as the first identical twins to land on Bachelor In Paradise.

The blonde beauties showed on Tuesday's episode that they were willing to delibartely use their likeness to their advantage by playing 'switcheroo' on a date.

When Haley, 23, was chosen by island newcomer Brandon Andreen, she wanted to put him to the test before getting too close during a romantic dinner date.

Brandon, 29, had insisted he could easily 'tell the difference' between Haley and her twin, telling her confidently: 'You guys look the same but I'm way more interested in you, like right off the bat.'

So the gals put him to the test, with Haley pretending to need to go to the restroom, and Emily secretly changing into her outfit and coming back for the second half of the date.

'If he pays close enough attention to me, and is focused on really getting to know me, he'll see the differences once we switch,' Haley said.

But Brandon - who gained so little attention on Desiree Hartsock's season of The Bachelorette even host Chris Harrison did not recognize him - failed dismally.

He continued his date with Emily thinking all along it was his original pick, Haley.

Brandon did not even catch on when Emily refused a kiss - only offering him her cheek - saying she likes to take it 'pretty slow'.

Completely ignorant, Brandon continued to brag about his date with 'Haley,' saying on camera: 'It's a really, really beautiful thing that we have going on right now. It's all coming together really well.

'I haven't had this kind of chemistry in a very long time,' he declared.

Haley admitted sadly: 'Brandon is so sweet, but he had no idea. I'm disappointed in him.

'I think he would be a really great guy for me, but I don't know what I'm going to do,' she added.

The most complicated triangle on the island involved former rivals Nick Viall and Josh Murray who were once again fighting for the same woman.

It became a full-on square affair when Evan Bass decided to get involved, too.

Despite Amanda Stanton, 26, spending the whole episode seemingly entangled in passionate kisses with Josh, Evan - heartbroken by getting jumped by Carly Waddell - bizarrely decided to make a move of his own.

The episode ended with nervous Evan, 33, approaching Amanda and Josh and having to interrupt their passionate make-out session to take her aside and ask her to join him on a date in a treehouse.

While the episode ended before seeing her response, a sneak peek of next week showed Evan declaring to Amanda that he 'totally came here for you' - and then warning her about tabloid rumors about 'horrible physical abuse claims' against Josh.

Josh was then seen taking Evan aside and confronting him, with Evan predicting: 'This guy's going to just explode.'

Before making his move, Evan admitted that 'Amanda and Josh have been making out the entire day' but still insisted: 'There are no rules in paradise - you pursue every freakin' option and see where that takes you. Amanda is beautiful and she's a mom and I think that's just an easy connection point as a dad.'

As he wrote out a date card for her, he predicted: 'When I talk to Amanda she's going to feel my heart. And that's the difference between me and a guy like Josh.

'Josh is trying to be the good guy while hiding his inner bad guy. But I wanna cry because I'm taking risks that I've never done before. True love is something that's worth taking a risk for,' Evan said.

He had been in tears earlier in the episode when Carly told him she only wanted to be friends after a disastrous date that ended with them playing a game to get a record for the 'world's longest, hottest kiss' after eating a pepper.

He called it 'the perfect kiss - it was butterflies and explosions,' while she said it was a 'nightmare' and the real reason she ended up throwing up.

'Evan just doesn't have any swag - he gives me erectile dysfunction,' she joked, referring to his unusual job as an erectile dysfunction specialist.

'It's crazy because Evan makes people have sex. He's only concentrating on men's boners. He's not concentrating on a lady boner,' Carly quipped.

'I really like you and it hurts for sure,' Evan told her after she broke the news that she had no interest, excusing himself quickly and later sobbing as he lay on his bed.

'You guys went on a date - and you threw up,' Jared Haibon, 27, reminded Carly as she sat sadly on the beach after 'dumping' Evan. 'I don't think it was going to work out.'

Carly immediately fell for Brandon, but he instead invited Haley on his date.

'Last time I did a bad job in paradise - this time I'm doing a worse job,' Carly admitted. 'Maybe it's just that I'm actually supposed to be single.'

Nick, who had initially seemed to have fallen hard for Amanda, seemed to take losing her to Josh reasonably well, despite them making out continuously in front of him.

He previously lost Andi Dorfman to Josh during her season on The Bachelorette.

Nick seemed more concerned about getting sent home, saying: 'I don't know how I'm going to get a rose, especially now that Josh has a steady diet of Amanda's tongue. Probably best that I move on from that…'

Sarah Herron, 29, also found herself in the middle of a triangle, seeming to fall for handsome newcomer Christian Bishop, 27, despite having grown close to quirky Daniel Maguire, 31, who gave her his rose last time.

Daniel initially bragged that Christian was 'wasting his time' - but could not hide his jealousy when Sarah agreed his offer of a date, smooching after an adventurous day zip-lining and rappelling down rocks.

She called Christian 'really handsome' and possessing 'the kind of energy you want to be around,' and admitted: 'If I gave my rose to Christian that could very easily turn into a relationship.'

Daniel - who complained about being left 'sitting back here in the mansion with my c*** in my hand' while they dated - refused to give in, however, and arranged a romantic date night for them later.

'Not giving me a date, I've gotta make my own, right?' the Canadian told her.

He soon confused Sarah even more by showing his sensitive side as well as the silly side that cracks her up.

She then told him that 'several times' on her date with Cristian she thought: 'This would be so much more fun with Daniel.'

'I'm really torn,' she admitted to camera. 'Do I give my rose to the guy who is probably a match made in heaven for me, or do I give it to the guy who is a little bit peculiar but really piques my interest and makes me laugh?'
