At least 25 homes were destroyed in the town of Vitrolles, 20 miles north of Marseille. Olympic chiefs today admitted that the Rio dive pool was turned green by algae in the water last night, but it appears they have done nothing to fix the issue - with both appearing to be green today. A picture appeared to show the water polo pool beginning to turn a shade of green, but is was still nowhere near as murky as the diving pool. Twitter erupted as last night's synchronised diving final turned into a farce as the pool looked like a dirty pond.
