Danniella Westbrook soothes her face with an ice-pack as she emerges from dental clinic looking puffy and tired... days after suffering a blood infection

She sparked concern among social medial followers last week after revealing she needed to have teeth removed after suffering a blood infection that left her bed ridden.

And the extent of Danniella Westbrook’s ailment was evident on Tuesday afternoon as she exited a dental clinic in Central London with an ice-pack firmly pressed to her cheek.

Looking puffy and tired, the former soap star appeared to be in some discomfort as she paused for a cigarette break on the clinic steps.

Preoccupying herself with her mobile phone during her appearance in the capital’s Wimpole Street – an area known for its medical and dental associations – Danniella was soon engaged in an animated conversation.

The 42-year old looked casual in a white fitted sweater and cut-off denim shorts, while tinted sunglasses were raffishly perched atop her bleached blonde bob. 

In keeping with her low-key look Danniella rounded things off with a pair of simple black running shoes.

Despite her dental visit Danniella's appetite appeared to be unaffected and the actress soon made a pit-stop at a local branch of popular bakery Greggs. 

Accompanied by oldest child Kai - her 19-year old son with former boyfriend Robert Fernandez - she was seen idling at the counter while browsing a selection of pastry treats.

Given her recent dental visit the star unwisely selected a sugary soft drink to wash down her lunch.

Danniella sparked concern last week when a series of bizarre messages surfaced on her Twitter account on Wednesday, claiming she was pregnant and had been hospitalised after suffering a drug addiction relapse.

But she later used Twitter to blast the allegations from her alleged stalker, who she claims has repeatedly hacked her account and is trying to 'ruin' her life.'

The former EastEnders star - who is sober following a well-documented history of drug abuse - posted a series of furious tweets, revealing it was all untrue except for the fact she had been rushed to hospital for a blood infection

Fans were concerned when the hacker posted a digitally altered picture of a puffy-faced Danniella alongside the caption, 'I am covering my nose because it is falling apart AGAIN because of my relapse'.

Another cruel fake tweet read: 'Cocaine has ruined my life I'm lying in a hospital bed and still have some gear stash in my bra i am a total mess and a screw up #hurting'.

A third alleged she was feeling hormonal and was accompanied by a picture of a positive test.

However, Danniella took to Twitter to set the record straight in the early hours of Wednesday morning, revealing it was the work of a malicious troll.

The blonde claimed she had approached her local police department for help, but was now resorting to deleting her social media account.

Danniella implored: 'I have an infection in my blood I'm very poorly! I have been in hospital YES! And this stalker s**t, @kentpolicemed still waiting 4 help!!'

'Who ever is on my Twitter your SICK IM NOT ON DRUGS! I'm VERY ILL WITH A BLOOD INFECTION @kentpolicemed Stop this'.

The ex CBB star also posted photographic evidence of herself cuddling up to toyboy boyfriend George Arnold, 24, looking tired and drained.

Danniella posted: 'OK SO YOU LEAVE ME NO OPTION BUT TO CLOSE MY TWITTER @kentpolicemed @Support #STALKED #HACKED'

Speaking to her fans in the one minute clip, she explained that she had been rushed to hospital with a blood infection, insisting she was still sober and all was well with her and George.

She said: 'Hello everyone it's me, Danniella. I've been woken up from my sleep by friends.

'I've been in hospital with teeth removed for a blood and bone infection through no fault of my own.

'I'm not taking drugs, I'm not pregnant, everything is fine with me and George.

Loved-up: Danniella and her boyfriend George Arnold, 24, have been dating since late last year, and he has been supporting her through her ordeal 

'I'm just very very poorly with a blood infection. As you can see I'm not on drugs, I'm tired, I'm knackered.'

Danniella went on to reveal details of her recent stalking hell, saying that she felt scared and alone.

'This stalker is absolutely trying to ruin my life, taking pictures through the windows of my house', she raged.

'I've had to sell my car. Kent Medway Police have done nothing to help in two weeks, I'm still waiting for them to come out and take a report.'

She concluded: 'Just so you know, I'm closing my Twitter down so any message you get from here on out after this will not be from me, it'll be from the person who's got my details.

MailOnline has contacted a representative for Danniella for comment.

A Kent Police Medway spokesperson told MailOnline: 'Kent Police received a report of harassment on Tuesday 26 July 2016. 

'To date, various enquiries have been made by the local policing team and the informant who made the report has been kept up to date throughout the investigation. Officers are continuing to make enquiries.'

This comes after Danniella seemingly posted a picture of a hospital room, in a post which has now been deleted.

'Hospital swollen in pain and worn out. Thank you Remy for being with me and my George 4 the [hearts] #poorly', it read.

The previous day she also sparked concern when she said she had been 'hit by another wave'.

'Just when you think it's all Ok ... BAM you get hit by a another wave .. Do ya sink or swim …#SwimAlways.'
