They say looking good is the best revenge after a break up.

And if that's true, Christie Brinkley got more than even with her ex John Mellencamp as she stepped out in East Hampton, New York on Friday.

The 62-year-old supermodel, who announced her amicable split from the 64-year-old Jack & Diane singer on Tuesday, looked radiant and summertime chic as she attended the 2016 Chefs & Champagne For Elephants event at The Baker House 1650.

Christie, who dated John for nearly a year, looked stunning per usual.

The newly single blonde bombshell dressed bohemian chic in a long breezy frock.

The muted navy and greenish yellow patterned long-sleeve dress featured a plunging neckline and showed off her trim midsection with an empire-waisted silhouette.

Christie added height to her svelte five-foot-nine stature with a pair of stylish tan platform espadrilles.

Model Christie Brinkley attended the Chefs & Champagne For Elephants event in New York's East Hamptons yesterday just a few days after announcing her split with ex, John Mellencamp.

Fashion Finder simply can't believe the former model is 62 though - she'd give a 25 year old a run for their money and we seriously want some of what she's having (or had...)

Christie topped off the winning look with a gold elephant necklace which perfectly matched the theme for the evening. 

The ageless beauty looked glamorous with just a little bit of eyeliner, mascara, blush and a swipe of pink gloss on her lips. 

And her signature long blonde locks were styled in loose waves which were left down to cascade past her shoulders.

Meanwhile, the former Sports Illustrated model and the Small Town rocker announced their breakup earlier this week saying they split due to their 'heavy career demands' and the 'mileage' between them.   

Christie, who owns a 20-acre estate in The Hamptons, has been busy promoting her line of Prosecco, Bellissima, while John, who lives in Indiana, is getting ready to hit the road again next month for his Plain Spoken Tour.
