California dreamin'! Lady Gaga smokes a cigarette while cruising Beverly Hills in her Bronco a month after getting driver's license

Lady Gaga was beyond excited about getting her first ever driver's license last month - at the age of 30.

The native New Yorker was the quintessential 'California girl' as she cruised around Beverly Hills in a sky-blue Ford Bronco with a female friend on Thursday.

Gaga relaxed behind the wheel beneath a black baseball cap and black-rimmed specs while puffing on what looked like a cigarette.

She wore her platinum blonde hair pulled back in a messy ponytail but strands got caught in the breeze blowing by.

Gaga managed to stay cool in a white T-shirt with short sleeves that allowed ample views of her tattoos and faded blue jeans, black loafers and short black socks.

For one who just passed her DMV test, Gaga handled herself pretty well while steering the muscular car down the boulevard passed the luxurious store fronts.

On July 1, the Poker Face singer revealed on Instagram that she's gotten her driver's license.

'Me at the DMV. SCHOOLS OUT,' Gaga captioned a snap of herself in a classroom, the only one in the classroom, that is.

She followed that up with a picture of herself kissing the ground after passing the driving test.

'And after I passed my driving test. PRAISE HIM,' she wrote alongside the humorous photo.

Meanwhile, Lady Gaga's love life is getting more interesting amid reports that her ex-fiance, Taylor Kinney, 35, wants to get back together.

The Born This Way hitmaker and the Chicago Fire star 'have been talking,' a Kinney pal tells Us Weekly. 'Taylor really hopes they’ll get back together.'

'There is absolutely still a chance they can get back together,' the source says. 'She still feels terrible and hopes it can work out.'

The couple announced the end of their year-and-a-half engagement in July.

'Taylor and I have always believed we are soul mates,'Gaga shared via Instagram on July 20. 'Just like all couples, we have ups and downs, and we have been taking a break.

'We are both ambitious artists, hoping to work through long-distance and complicated schedules to continue the simple love we have always shared.'

She added on a hopeful note: 'Please root us on. We're just like everybody else, and we really love each other.'
