She split from One Tree Hill actor Robert Buckley last month after just three months together.

But Lea Michele looked single and ready to mingle as she left a beauty salon in Beverly Hills on Thursday after admitting 'it feels great' to finally be on her own.

The actress, 29, went braless as she showcased her gym-honed figure in a low-cut thigh-split maxi dress for her low-key day out.

The Glee star teamed her flowing dress with a pair of white strappy block heels, which added height to her 5ft3in frame.

Lea sheltered her eyes from the sun with a pair of stylish aviator sunglasses and toted her belongings in a black leather handbag.

The brunette scraped her tresses in to a slick ponytail and opted for natural make-up to highlight her pretty features.

Lea was showcasing the fruits of her labour after working up a sweat in a gruelling SoulCycle class in Brentwood, California, earlier in the day.

The Scream Queens star displayed her slim pins in tight workout pants, which she teamed with an oversized black tee and comfortable flip flops.

A LA Dodgers baseball cap and her favourite aviator sunglasses completed the look as she sipped on a healthy green juice to rehydrate after her class.

On Monday night, Lea made her relationship status public with the help of her Scream Queens co-star John Stamos.

Sitting down for a Facebook Live chat along with Taylor Lautner John got the Lea-is-back-on-the-market ball rolling.

The Full House star said to the actress as the cameras rolled: 'You're single, she just told me as we were coming in, she goes, ''I'm single now, it feels great".'

Last month, it was rumoured that Lea had split with Robert Buckley, whom she had been dating just three months.

Neither Lea nor the One Tree Hill actor confirmed whether this was the case and the pair will appear on show Dimension 404 together.

Prior to that, the Glee actress had dated dancer Matthew Paetz, for two years before splitting in February.

Lea was in a long-term relationship with her Glee co-star Cory Monteith from 2011 until he passed away in July 2013 at the age of just 31 after a drug and alcohol overdose.

As well as her numerous TV projects, Lea is all systems go on the music front and on Tuesday she gave her record label its first listen to her new album.

Posting a Snapchat from inside Columbia Records, the actress asked for her fans support.

'I'm at my record label about to play my whole new record for everyone, wish me luck!'

This album will be her second solo release, with her first being, Louder in 2014.

The two-time Golden Globe nominee is certainly not afraid of putting herself out there, having recently posed completely nude for the latest cover of Women's Health UK, as part of their annual naked celebrities issue.

Speaking about maintaining her toned figure, she told the magazine: 'I'm not perfect. I'm not trying to represent myself as being some perfect girl, but I love myself, flaws and all. Everyone has their own things, and I have my own list.

'Right now, I feel physically in my best shape, and emotionally in my best place. I'm not the kind of person who would go to the gym.

'For me, working out has to be good for my mind too, and when I leave [spinning class SoulCycle], the endorphins are buzzing, I'm glowing and I feel like I can take on the world.'
