She has never shied away from pushing the envelope when it comes to her edgy fashion sense.

And Thursday evening was of no exception for the perennial stand-out fashionista Rita Ora.

The 25-year-old looked absolutely breathtaking in an extremely eye-catching ensemble that nipped in at her slender waist at the premiere of Netflix's The Get Down in New York.

The slinky skirt clung to her toned legs from waist to ankle, enhancing her petite frame, while the top featured a daring low plunge, flashing a cheeky hint of cleavage.

This week at Netflix's The Get Down premiere in New York, the fabulous Rita Ora arrived in her usual edgy style.

The singer and now judge on America's Next Top Model wore a couture piece by Jean Paul Gaultier that hailed from the spring 2016 collection.

The striking dress contrasted red and black hues and the sequin embellishment sparkled, ensuring Rita really stood out at the event. The bodice was layered with a quirky cage design that gave it even more edge, perfect for the star who usually opts for extra-ordinary attire.

Directed by Baz Luhrman, The Get Down will focus on a group of South Bronx teens during the birth of hip hop, punk and disco in the 1970s.

The Vogue editor was greeted warmly by Rita as well, who happily embraced her.

Rita's sexy, slender display comes just days after Rita revealed to Cosmopolitan magazine her secrets to maintaining a killer physique.

She said: 'I watch what I eat but I just cut my portions in half. So if I want a burger I'll just cut it in half and eat half of it. That or I'll take the bread off and only eat the burger. Or if I want fries then I won't have a burger to go with them.'

She continued: 'I'm not the skinniest person in the world but I don't try to be.

'I'm more focused on toning rather than trying to be skinny which I feel everyone should try because that comes more naturally.'

It was confirmed last month that Rita would be replacing Tyra Banks at the host for the upcoming 23rd season of America's Next Top Model, which will premiere in the autumn on VH1 after many years on the CW.

Aside from her new TV role, Rita is back in studio after battling her former record label Roc Nation to be released from her contract following her debut album Ora in 2012.

However, after settling with Roc Nation in May, Rita has since signed a new deal with Atlantic Records.
