They have a very close relationship and former Miss Great Britain star Zara Holland and her mother looked more like sisters when they hit the beach in Barbados.

Soaking up the sun as they walked along the beach together in very sexy bikinis, the pair looked like they were having such fun.

Zara, 21, showed off her toned physique in a green and blue Medusa bikini top and tie-side bottoms by luxury swimwear brand West Seventy Nine.

Her mother, Cheryl Hakeney looked equally glamorous in a beautiful white two-piece which had a daisy print running throughout.

It's no secret that Zara decided to quit reality show Love Island back in June after learning her mother was unwell with an undisclosed illness.

She lamented at the time: 'I'm so sad to leave the villa but it's important for me to get home and spend time with my mum while she gets better.

'I've had the time of my life on Love Island and would like to thank all of my fellow Islanders and the production team for all their support.'

The stunner also revealed her concerns that she felt like she had upset her mother after sleeping with fellow contestant Alex Bowen on the ITV2 show.

She told OK! soon after: 'Before I even went into the villa, my mum said, "Don't sleep with anybody." So I let my mum down, and that really still upsets me.'

'I haven't committed a crime, I haven't done anything to hurt anyone, but yes, I made this mistake. I've accepted that and we have to move forward now.'

Talking about her loss of the title, the reality star said: 'I still can't quite believe it now, because it's been such a massive part of my life and I've worked so hard for it. Losing the title was just the worst thing that's ever happened to me.'

While she was stripped of her Miss Great Britain title as a result of her actions, it looks as though her mother couldn't be prouder of her.
