But Jennifer Garner treated herself to a night out with her girlfriends on Friday.

The 44-year-old was spotted leaving Little Beach House, which is Soho House's newest offering in Malibu, California.

Jennifer kept it cool and casual for the warm summer's evening in a frilly printed mini-skirt.

She teamed it with a cream jacket over a black tank top, and slung a pale blue handbag over one shoulder.

Jennifer showed off her natural beauty as she sported just a little make-up, and left her glossy chestnut brown hair down.

The actress was seen bidding farewell to one of her pals before hopping into her car and heading home.

Jennifer and estranged husband Ben Affleck, 43, announced their separation on June 30 last year, one day after their tenth wedding anniversary.

The former couple, who share daughters Violet, 10, and Seraphina, seven, and son Samuel, four, have yet to proceed with divorce papers.

Speaking about their marital split to NBC's Today recently, Jennifer said: 'We are definitely a modern family.'

The two actors sparked rumours of a reconciliation in May when they were spotted enjoying a family holiday with their children in Paris.

However Jennifer clarified the situation, explaining: 'Ben was working in London on Justice League, and I felt like, "Well, the kids should have that experience." And he and I are great friends, and we just all went en masse.'

The Alias star previously married Scandal actor Scott Foley in 2000, after meeting on the set of Felicity, but the pair called it quits after two and a half years of marriage.
