He recently sent hearts racing when he posed on a motorcycle to shoot his new calendar.

But Pete Wicks, 27, decided to swap two wheel for one as he attempted to ride a unicycle whilst filming TOWIE in Essex on Saturday.

The tattooed reality star seemed to have a bit of trouble finding his balance on the vehicle, however, but luckily he had James Lock to come to the rescue.

Pete seemed in great spirits as he attempted to cycle along the sprawling countryside, but wasn't quite capable of mastering the art on his own.

Clad in a plain white T-shirt, the model showed off his impressive tattoo collection as he flexed his arms and carried the contraption up the hill.

His attire may not have been the most practical for the outing, with Pete struggling to hoik himself up onto the unicycle in his super skinny jeans.

James also showed off his bulging biceps in a grey top as he lifted his friend up in the air.

Clearly amused by the spectacle, the restauranter struggled to keep a straight face as he rushed to help out Pete.

Pete was no doubt glad to have a fun day out after being seen involved in a heated spat with girlfriend Megan McKenna.

The genetically blessed couple were spotted having a lovers tiff outside the Headley Spice Indian restaurant in Essex earlier this month.

The fiery exchange saw the tattooed hunk flinging his arms around at his love as they stood in the doorway of the Brentwood restaurant.

As the row continued, the issue between them appeared to dissolve from conflict to one of disappointment, with Pete seemingly imploring with his girlfriend as he held onto her arm more tenderly.

The scenes came after Pete gallantly leapt to his girlfriend's aid when he bumped into her 'frenemy' Chloe Meadows.

The girls had been rowing after it emerged Chloe had enjoyed a night out with Megan's enemies - a move that lead the brunette to label her former gal pal a 's**t friend.'

Pete made it very clear where his loyalties lay as he confronted the pretty blonde over the dispute and declared that she had indeed been a 'sh*t friend'.
