GIRL ABOUT TOWN: Has lovestruck fashion guru Gok Wan finally found the one?

He's always claimed to be too busy for love, but I can reveal Gok Wan is finally settling down – with actor David Ames, who plays Dr Dominic Copeland in the BBC soap drama Holby City.

I spotted TV presenter Gok, 41, wrapping his arms around David at a party hosted by Diva magazine last week, where Gok’s good pal Daniel Hughes, told me: ‘Yes, they are together.’

The bespectacled pair, pictured at a recent barbecue with Gok’s pet dog Dolly, have a lot in common – both having overcome ‘body issues’ in their youth.

You’d think with two Michelin stars, a chef would know the difference between a tomato and a melon.

Not so Raymond Blanc, who got in a muddle over his fruit and veg at the Wilderness Festival.

The decorated 66-year-old foodie, right, preparing a banquet for 400 guests at the Oxfordshire event last week, erupted when he was handed what he thought were tomatoes to make a gazpacho – declaring they were unripe.

His sous chefs looked awkwardly down at their feet, except one who dared to point out that the ‘tomatoes’ were in fact small melons.

Raymond’s PR explained that the frazzled chef lost four pairs of spectacles over the weekend – which obviously didn’t help when it came to cooking.
