And Princess Charlene of Monaco didn't disappoint as she visited residents at a local retirement home.

The 38-year-old Monégasque Royal rocked understated glamour as she worked her magic.

Dressed in a sheer white blouse with a floral pattern, she teamed her simple outfit with a black pencil skirt.

Accessorising with a pearl necklace and earrings, Charlene showed off her elegant neckline with her short blonde hairdo.

And accentuating her statuesque figure with high block sandals, she brought a smile to the faces of the home's residents.

Looking pretty with a touch of berry-coloured lipgloss, she took the time to meet and greet the elderly inhabitants.

The former Olympic swimmer of South Africa, who wed the Prince of Monaco in 2011, even appeared to bring a grin to the face of the resident Labrador.

Leaning down to ruffle the pooch's ears, the pup looked delighted with the attention being lavished on it.

Charlene has been married to Prince Albert for four years and they share 19-month-old twins Gabriella and Jacques.

Born in Rhodesia- a previously unrecongised state in Southern Africa colonised by the British, she relocated to South Africa aged 11.

She had a successful swimming career and went on to win three gold medals and a silver medal at the 1999 All Africa Games in Johannesburg, as well as representing South Africa at the 1998 and 2002 Commonwealth Games and winning a silver medal in the 4 × 100 m medley relay in the latter competition.
