Accessorising with a pearl necklace and earrings, Charlene showed off her elegant neckline with her short blonde hairdo. 

And accentuating her statuesque figure with high block sandals, she brought a smile to the faces of the home's residents.

The former Olympic swimmer of South Africa, who wed the Prince of Monaco in 2011, even appeared to bring a grin to the face of the resident Labrador.

Charlene has been married to Prince Albert for four years and they share 19-month-old twins Gabriella and Jacques. 

Born in Rhodesia- a previously unrecongised state in Southern Africa colonised by the British, she relocated to South Africa aged 11.

She had a successful swimming career and went on to win three gold medals and a silver medal at the 1999 All Africa Games in Johannesburg, as well as representing South Africa at the 1998 and 2002 Commonwealth Games and winning a silver medal in the 4 × 100 m medley relay in the latter competition.
