Shying away: Francesca Packer Barham has opened up about how she maintains privacy despite being born into a public figure family
'When you accept that you can’t have complete privacy, you decide which window in your house to keep the shades on and which window you’re going to let people see through [so they won’t] bother looking in the other ones,' she said.
It comes after her mother, Gretel Packer Barham, decided to keep out of the spotlight after witnessing the chaos surrounding her late father Kerry Packer and brother James Packer.
Last month, Francesca said her grandfather would have loved the instant and visual nature of the internet revolution but argued he would have found it's reached a point of 'over sharing'.

'Maybe the privacy and over-sharing, he'd be a little bit, "Woah, what is going on there?" but I think that's how most people would react who haven't experienced the level of openness that my generation seems to find very, very exciting,' she told the Sydney Morning Herald.
'I don't have Snapchat and I get furious when anyone tries to take photos of me for it,' she added.

Despite her extravagant holidays, the brunette beauty told Harper's Bazaar earlier this year, she does not identify with the word heiress.
‘For me, honestly, it’s a term I have never in my life considered relevant to myself…ever, not once,’ she said.
‘It’s just not relevant any more. Everyone on the planet inherits something, so everyone on the planet is an heir or heiress in some way,’ she continued.
‘Do I feel like the family empire is being placed on my shoulders, all wrapped up in a nice little bow? No. I don’t think about it at all. It’s not a term that is part of my vocabulary whatsoever.’
Family: Francesca is the grand daughter to the late Australian media tycoon Kerry Packer
