Luke, 26, and Ryan Hart, 25 (pictured together left), wept and wiped tears from their eyes as they walked together behind the hearse carrying the coffins of their mother Claire Hart, 50, and their 'beautiful and kind' 19-year-old sister Charlotte. Their 'loving' mother was killed by her estranged husband Lance, 57, who took the 'coward's way out' by blasting himself in the head moments after using the single-barrelled shotgun to murder his daughter Charlotte. The father-of-three had lay in wait underneath a parked car before leaping out to gun down the pair as they left an early morning swim at a leisure centre in Spalding, Lincolnshire, just days after his wife asked for a divorce. As they lay dying on the cold car park floor, Hart turned the shotgun on himself.
