'Hot felon' Jeremy Meeks poses with Gigi and Bella's brother Anwar Hadid as he angles for modelling career

His gorgeous mugshot weakened knees across America and scored him a modelling contract.

And on Wednesday, the man sentenced to 27 months for being a felon with a firearm was chumming about with one of his new industry's most famous families.

Jeremy Meeks uploaded an Instagram photo of himself flashing his signature smouldering stare and cut-glass cheekbones as he posed beside Anwar Hadid.

A white tank top stretched over the 32-year-old's musclebound physique. The man police called 'one of the most violent criminals in the Stockton area' showed off a sculpted arm covered in tattoos.

Next to one of the Crip's piercing blue eyes was the infamous teardrop gang tattoo, which he has previously said was for 'doing some things in his past he is not proud of'.

Gigi and Bella Hadid's 17-year-old brother meanwhile modelled a white and red Budweiser T-shirt, its sleeves slightly rolled up. A couple of necklaces, including a tiny cross, dangled from his neck.

After a string of far less renowned mugshots, the married father-of-one began his latest judicial imbroglio in 2014. The Stockton Police Department had embarked on a gang sweep that June, bringing Meeks in for five weapons offences and two gang membership offences.

When the police posted the mugshot to their Facebook page, the public attraction to the 'Hot Felon' began, and persisted once he proved in court that his dashing looks weren't just the result of an apt photographer.

He was finally sentenced last February on one of the gun charges, and was released from prison this March. Though he remained under house arrest until 7th July, he continued paving the road for his prospective modelling career on Instagram.

Now signed to White Cross Management, he posted his first professional headshot in June. He was pictured therein seemingly shirtless and wearing a Golden State Warriors cap.

Shortly thereafter, he posted what become the arguably more iconic photo: one in which he bared his complete, chiseled torso as he washed his hands in a kitchen.

Though the felonious bombshell has yet to secure a magazine cover, Yolanda Hadid's son covered this year's June/July issue of Teen Vogue.
