My how you've changed! Shirtless Gareth Gates reveals his sculpted physique as he parties in Greece with girlfriend Faye Brookes

The singing voice might be unchanged, but the body was unrecognizable as shirtless Gareth Gates partied in Greece on Friday afternoon.

Posting a series of Instagram snaps from his current stay on the island of Mykonos, Gareth looked vastly different to the shy, skinny teen who overcame a debilitating stutter and sang his way to the Pop Idol finale in 2002.

Looking tanned and toned, the 32-year old reveals nicely toned pectorals and a clearly defined six-pack while letting his hair down on the popular Greek resort with his girlfriend, Coronation Street star Faye Brookes.

In the first of two shots Gareth sports a jaunty baseball cap, black shorts and a model pout as he stands alongside the brunette, who wraps an arm across his shoulders.

A second image captures the couple cheek to cheek while they relax close to a series of outdoor tables, where fellow holidaymakers can be seen enjoying an al-fresco lunch.

Girlfriend Faye later shared a short video of the singer showing off some dubious dance moves alongside a male pal.

Gareth's current holiday comes after he revealed he's aiming for a career change as a clean-eating entrepreneur - despite having previously enjoyed four number one singles and several roles in musical-theatre.

The Bradford born star, who is a pioneer of the clean-eating movement, is launching his own range of coconut teas.

He came up with the idea in 2014 after having an operation on his vocal cords - something he described as 'hell' and 'the hardest thing' he has ever gone through.

'I was overworked and partying too much,' he told FEMAIL in June.  'As a result of that I had an operation on my vocal cords and while I was resting at home I replaced alcohol for herbal tea and got really into the idea of clean living.

'I go to the gym a lot, my diet's very good and I don't eat rubbish food. I saw that coconut was huge - from coconut water to oil - and the health benefits are incredible. So then I saw a space in the market for a hot coconut brew.

He added: 'I literally sat on my kitchen table at home putting ground coconut into teabags and trying it out with water and it was great.

'I then worked with a food development company to enhance the flavours.'

So different: Gareth has undergone an image overhaul over recent months. He's now looking to do the same thing with his career by developing a name for himself as a clean-eating entrepreneur
