Keep it chic in a monochrome skirt like Nina

When it comes to girlfriends Leonardo DiCaprio definitely has a type, they’re always beautiful, super stylish and mostly models. And Victoria’s Secret Angel Nina Agdal is no different.

Earlier this week the Danish beauty was spotted in the Hamptons, showing off her supermodel pins in a mini skirt and flounced strapless top by Milly teamed with a pair of heeled sandals by Schutz.

We love this chic monochrome look and are definitely coveting this printed A-line skirt which is from Milly’s spring/ summer 2016 collection.

Sadly it’s not available to buy online, but follow the link on the right to shop the current collection at Revolve, then recreate the look with one of the picks from our edit below.

'I personally believe that if you do work out — even though it may suck for those 45 [minutes] or an hour — you are going to feel so much better and so much clearer afterwards and just tighter and sexier,' she explained.

'I wouldn't do it for the guys, I would do it for yourself, but that's easy to say, obviously,' Nina added. 'We all want to look good for a guy but definitely just feeling good about yourself is the most important.'

Nina, who appears inside Sports Illustrated's first-ever Summer of Swim special, looks absolutely stunning in the new shoot that sees her frolicking around New York's Coney Island in a series of barely-there swimsuits.

The blonde beauty, however, admitted that she gets bouts of insecurity 'all the time' — just like everyone else.

'I totally feel insecure. I felt insecure last night,' she said of overindulging, noting that it is 'definitely about getting back into a routine'.

After a weekend when she knows she has been 'bad', Nina said she likes to juice for two of her meals, have a salad for dinner and work up a good sweat at some point in the day.

'I like spinning for that — even going for a steam or a sauna session where you could just feel like you are a little clearer, cleaner,' she said. 'I think that definitely boosts your confidence. But everybody has bad days, completely normal that you just want to hide.'

And in moments when she is wondering why she ate that last bite, Nina said she's 'just gotta remember that it's human'.

In her latest ad campaign with Buick, Nina's Soul Cycle instructor Akin leads her through a series of stretches and exercises that are meant to bring comfort to those who find themselves sitting down for long periods of time.

Nina said the collaboration was a perfect fit because she and Akin are 'both very active and all about being healthy inside and out'.

An attention to wellness clearly runs in the family, as Nina revealed that her father would try to walk around as much as he could during his work day.

'My dad used to work in a bank for 12 hours a day, and he would have a higher top table, so he would stand up and work the entire day and keep himself a little more active,' she said.

As for her own fitness routine, Nina said she likes to work out at least once a day, although she admitted that on Thursday she worked out three times.

The fitness aficionado said she loves to 'switch it up', and in addition to Akin, Nina also works with personal trainer Andy Speer.

And there aren't too many workouts that she hasn't tried. The supermodel loves boxing, Soul Cycle with Akin, SLT for Pilates, Y7 for yoga and Barry's Bootcamp for cardio and strength training.

'I enjoy working out so much and it kind of just gives me a balance and a stability,' she said. 'It kind of keeps me sane, so I do think I enjoy doing it.'

Nina said that a lot of people forget to make fitness a priority, and they end up getting 'sucked into habits and bad patterns'.

'If you actually sit down and figure what makes you happy and what you need and you make sure you get that every single day — even just doing a list — it can help you a lot,' she added.

For those who despise working out, Nina insists that everyone can find at least one way to work up a sweat that they enjoy.

'Like don't start on the treadmill, if you hate the treadmill. You are never going to go anywhere then,' she explained.

Nina admitted that it is more difficult to stick to her routine when she is on vacation, but if she knows she has to return to work as soon as she gets back, she will try to 'cut down' and avoid eating 'bread, butter and pasta' if she can.

'I mean it is so hard — especially when you are in Europe,' she said. 'And then definitely just get that workout in even if it is just 30 minutes of a beach jog or some squats or something like that. Just anything that can maintain you a little bit.'

The model, who was in the Hamptons at the Buick Studio Envision with Akin last weekend, is a seasoned traveler and spent a portion of her summer enjoying luxurious vacations in Ibiza and the Bahamas with Leo.

'I honestly love the Bahamas,' she said. 'It's not too far away. I think the water is some of the best. I just love the vibe there and the people are so nice. I personally really like that.'

Nina said she also likes to travel to Denmark to visit her family, which is 'just super low-key'.

And while she doesn't mind traveling alone when she is working, Nina said it is always nice to have someone around when she isn't on set.

'Obviously, it is always fun to have company if you are going somewhere really fun where you could do sightseeing and go to fun restaurants and stuff like that,' she said.
