Supergirl meets Wonder Woman! Melissa Benoist and Lynda Carter share a joke while filming scenes together
They're two of the biggest female heroes in the DC Comics universe.
And Wonder Woman and Supergirl joined forces on Thursday as Lynda Carter and Melissa Benoist got to meet.Â
Linda, who portrayed Wonder Woman in the iconic '70s television series, is filming a recurring role in Supergirl's second season.

The 65-year-old actress is playing another one of the most powerful women in the world - The President of the United States - as she returns to her comic-book inspired TV roots.
Lynda looked confident on the set of the WB show, and was seen sharing a laugh with Melissa when the 27-year-old joined her beside a podium in her Supergirl suit.
For her role, Lynda looked quite official in a sky blue button down and navy blue blazer.Â
A classic white pearl necklace with matching earrings and a flag pin added an air of authenticity.Â
Flying visit: Melissa, who plays the titular character in the show, joined Lynda (who famously portrayed Wonder Woman in the 1970s and is now playing the President) on stage
Goofing around: The 65-year-old looked as though she was having a great time as the cameras rolled
Break time: In between scenes Melissa was spotted walking her dog and having a snack, while dressed in her superhero suit complete with cape and thigh high boots
Her make-up and rose lipstick was flawless, while her brunette locks were parted in the center and cascaded down past her shoulders.Â
Lynda looked comfortable in front of the camera, even while stylists tended to her dark 'do.
After filming for the day, Melissa posted a black and white photo of her and Lynda both in costume to Instagram, adding the clever caption: 'Met a wonderful woman today @reallyndacarter.'

Meanwhile, producers Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg had been trying to get Lynda on the show for quite awhile, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
They tried to get the actress on board for last season, but the schedule did not work for her. Carter - who was a singer before finding fame as an actress - tours with her band, playing venues all over the US.
Now the Supergirl set is thrilled she's on board, with co-showrunner Ali Adler telling THR it was 'incredible' and a 'true honor' to have her on the show. Â
