Bachelor in Paradise's bad blood: Nick Viall gives Josh Murray the silent treatment over Amanda Stanton love triangle

Bachelor in Paradise star Nick Viall is so bitter about how Josh Murray portrayed him on the show, he will no longer speak to him.

The season three contestants are both vying for the affections of Amanda Stanton, a 25-year-old single mom from Rancho Santa Margarita, California. They previously competed for the affections of Andi Dorfman in The Bachelorette's season 10 in 2014, with Andi picking Josh.

On the current season of Bachelor in Paradise, Amanda and Josh, 32, have gotten quite close - after she had a brief courtship with Nick - who felt Josh had been underhanded in wooing Amanda away from him, production sources told TMZ.

Josh was stunned to find out from his castmates that Nick, 35, had painted him as a jerk for the way he handled the situation with Amanda, but still tried to make amends when filming of the show's third season commenced in June. But his attempts to reconcile with Nick fell on deaf ears, as Nick never responded to his calls.

It's doubtful Josh will lose any sleep over the slight, as sources told the outlet that Josh has no regrets about the way he behaved on the program, and feels that he won Amanda's heart fair and square. Insiders told the website that a clip of Josh asking the ladies if all of them were seriously involved with someone - and Amanda saying she wasn't - was left on the cutting room floor.

Josh has lost his respect for Nick - who he feels intentionally played the victim in this situation for attention - sources told the outlet.

The tension between the men boiled over on a recent broadcast, as the two men spoke about Josh's success in wooing Amanda right out from under Nick's nose.

'I've never seen someone so unapologetic for being an a** for no reason,' Nick told Josh, later describing him as 'super-obnoxious.'

A cringeworthy scene that followed showed a humiliated Nick hovering in the area as Josh cuddled with Amanda, flashing a victorious smirk toward his two-time love rival.

Nick, who claimed he came on the show to find love, explained why Josh's maneuvering hit such a nerve.

'Amanda was the only person that I was romantically interested in,' Nick said.

Josh, a former shortstop prospect for the Milwaukee Brewers baseball club, let his alpha male flag fly in explaining his dominance in the romantic rivalry: 'Nick and I are on a very different level; there's lions and there's sheep: Roar!'

He repeated similar sentiments on Tuesday's broadcast, as he said: 'Nick and I have a history, obviously, of dating the same woman before, but I feel good about where I stand. And me as a person, I don't worry about Nick; he's no concern to me."

Amanda, an esthetician, was first introduced to America on The Bachelor, where she was one of four finalists wooing Indiana software salesman Ben Higgins, who got cold feet after absorbing the deep commitment a relationship with the mother-of-two would entail.

Bachelor in Paradise airs on ABC at 8 p.m. Monday and Tuesday.
