Larry King may file for divorce after reportedly being blindsided by the news that his wife is having an affair - with a man she met when he appeared on the couple's popular podcast.

Page Six reports that Shawn King's paramour of just over a year is Richard Greene, a public-speaking guru who has worked with everyone from Princess Diana and Naomi Campbell to Will and Jada Pinkett Smith.

The pair allegedly met when Greene was a guest on Larry and Shawn's podcast, Back and Forth with Shawn & Larry King.

Details of the alleged affair between the two were first revealed on Wednesday by the National Enquirer. 

'He’s heartbroken. He’s embarrassed and furious,' said a friend of the popular talk show host, who on Thursday was seen speaking on his house phone outside his LA home looking somber.

An attorney for the Kings and rep for Greene called the claims 'inaccurate.'

Larry, 82, and Shawn, 56, both previously filed for divorce in 2010 in the wake of allegations that the legendary television personality was having an affair with her younger sister.  

The couple, who have two teenage sons, eventually stopped the proceedings and reconciled.

It would have been the ninth divorce for Larry, who has had seven wives and been married eight times.

Greene is a former lawyer who left the legal profession to become a self-described communications strategist and public speaking trainer.

He is the author of the book Words That Shook the World:100 Years of Unforgettable Speeches and Event, which was released in 2001 and according to his website is 'used in high schools and universities around the world.'

Greene also hosted a radio show, Hollywood CLOUT!, for three years was was a judge on the short lived TLC reality show The Messengers, which set out to discover America’s next great inspirational speaker. 

And in 2014 he gave a TED talk. 

It is being reported that Shawn wants to mold her new lover into the next Larry King.

'Richard's uncanny ability to "read" "body language" and analyze all aspects of human communication propelled him to the forefront of television coverage of key news events,' write Greens on his website. 

The Enquirer revealed in their story the racy texts that were allegedly sent by Shawn and Greene, who they claim have been enjoying 'steamy sex' sessions for months.

In one of the alleged texts sent by Shawn to Greene, she wrote that her husband seems to know about the affair.

'Larry made another joke about me having an affair last night … He said I looked cute in my glasses like a school teacher ... having an affair with one of my students,' texted Shawn.

'He senses a shift in me.'

In another conversation, Greene allegedly told Shawn: 'You do have great ankles, legs, eyes, brain, breasts, mouth, vagina etc. etc.'

Shawn also allegedly texted  about leaving her husband at one point, saying however it would not be for another man but because of problems in their own relationship.

'I would leave Larry because he killed our romance years ago, and my boys [Chance and Cannon] didn't do anything to deserve to be raised by a [redacted] who indulges them at every turn.' 

In July, Shawn allegedly texted Greene a photo 'showing her seductively exposing a breast.'

And Greene allegedly referred to one hookup between the two as the 'Sleep WITH a King' campaign.

Shawn allegedly joked in response text that she would be 'in charge of casting,' which led to the man responding: I have a large [redacted].' 

Shawn was previously accused of having an affair in 2008 with her sons' baseball coach, but she denied that allegation.
