Jeremy McConnell labels pregnant Stephanie Davis and the Loose Women panellists 'freaks' as his ex admits a doll made her want a baby with him

Their rocky relationship came to a bitter end in May.

And despite Stephanie Davis's insistence Jeremy McConnell, 26, is the father to her unborn child, the Irishman insulted his ex via Twitter, on Friday.

Replying to a tweet from the Loose Women account in which he was tagged, Jeremy simply wrote 'freaks'.

The CBB star was clearly unimpressed with Steph's claim on the ITV panel show that being given a baby doll inside the Big Brother house prompted her to want a child of her own with Jeremy.

She praised his paternal skills with the toy, telling the panel: 'He was really good with the baby.

'He was burping it and rubbing its back and I was like "oh I want a baby with him," she explained. Then we watched back the clips and I wanted it.'

Loose Women later deleted the tweet following Jeremy's comment.

During her candid appearance, Stephanie also revealed that she hit an all-time low following her fall-out with Jeremy.

The brunette beauty, who is 20-weeks pregnant with her first child, hinted that she felt suicidal after her screen antics disappointed her mother.

She broke down during the broadcast as she said: 'I honestly don't think I'd be here if it wasn't for the baby. I was so down, I couldn't see a way out.'

Stephanie also spoke about facing her mother immediately after leaving the house at the start of the year, saying: 'That was the worst time for me when I came out.

'I was her decent daughter I'd never cheated... she saw me in a completely different light. I'll never forget the day. She was taken back and it was all overwhelming.

'Maybe not ashamed, but she was disappointed and was saying, "What's happened to my Steph?" I was off, straight with him, not caring about my mum.'

Go bardot in Stephanie's dress from Lasula

If the perfect summer dress is still top of your shopping list, then you're not too late.

Find the right one and you'll be reaching for it every time you get all glammed up. And even the most loyal little black dress fans would surely make an exception for Stephanie Davis' dress!

The former Hollyoaks star appeared on Loose Women wearing a nude number from Lasula, and it's not actually a maternity dress so we can all get in on the action.

We love the midi length and frill layer, but of course it's really all about that bardot style. Forget cut outs or plunging necklines, the biggest trend at the moment is showing off your shoulders and we're obsessed. Click the link (right) to steal Stephanie's style.

Her affair with Jeremy in the house ultimately led to the end of her relationship with model Sam Reece.

She was consoled by the panel of co-hosts as she added: 'Mum, I love you so much, and I am so sorry if I upset you. Thank you for supporting me through this time.'

Speaking of the tumultuous time she's had, she continued: 'I'm 23. I feel like I'm 80! It's been so difficult. Being pregnant for me was probably my life-changing milestone. At the time i was really down, in a toxic relationship.

Broken: She broke down during the broadcast as she said: 'I honestly don't think I'd be here if it wasn't for the baby. I was so down, I couldn't see a way out.'

'I was at a dead end, I was trying to block it out any way I could. I thought, that's it I'm over. This baby saved me.

'I was so lost. I was like, "I'm selfish, I'm heartbroken". I lashed out all that feeling on my mum. We were chatting last night in the hotel about how far I've come and how I've turned it around.'

Stephanie was surprisingly upbeat about the prospect of facing life as a single mother.

She said: 'My friend told me men are useless when the baby is first born. They're not doing anything or you're moaning at them for not doing it properly.

'I was a bit worried about going to antenatal classes on my own and everyone else being with their partners. Every time I've had a little wobble, my midwife has helped me.

'There's loads of things I've been doing on my own, like singing to my bump. I've been singing to the baby From This Moment On by Shania Twain. It's got the lyric about all we need is just the two of us.'

She also revealed that thought she had gone into early labour last weekend.

The actress was rushed into hospital on Sunday with crippling abdominal pains and doctors initially feared she was experiencing contractions.

She explained: 'I had a little scare on Sunday, which kind of threw me off track of a bit because it was just really, really bad pains to the point I was throwing up. I ended up going to hospital.

'My mum was going to call an ambulance. They checked me out and they actually thought I was in early labour because I was having what they thought was early contractions.

'I was on the gas and air. Gas and air was really weird, I didn't know what was going on.'

Despite the excruciating pain, the brunette beauty was relieved to find out her baby boy - who is due early next year - was absolutely fine but she still doesn't know what caused the tummy troubles.

She said: 'Actually everything was OK. They don't know what it was. It was just my body.

'They're going to keep a close eye on my but luckily, touch wood, everything is OK. I felt a kick properly for the first time after that so that was like a relief.'

Meanwhile, Stephanie hasn't had the easiest pregnancy so far as she's been battling with morning sickness from the first trimester and was told at her three-month scan that she had a small 2-centimetre bleed on her uterus.

Disputed claim: While Jeremy has claimed otherwise, Stephanie suggested that she and her ex planned to have a child together

During the show, she also spoke about how she's coping with her pregnancy, telling the co-hosts: 'I'm feeling OK, it took me about 20 minutes to put these shoes on though.

'It's been a challenge, all different things happening to your body, your emotions, what you like to eat.'

She also revealed that she's experiencing some cravings, saying: 'I have been craving pickles, red cabbage and gravy. I had to stop. I was having too much of it.'
