His favourite role! Chris Pratt heads to the movies with his son Jack as wife Anna Faris runs errands

He's a high-profile Hollywood action star.

But sometimes even the likes of Chris Pratt needs a low-key day at the movies to unwind.

And on Saturday, the 37-year-old Jurassic World actor decided to bring his four-year-old son Jack along as well.

The duo were spotted in Los Angeles making their way to a screening of The Secret Life of Pets.

Heartthrob Chris looked laid-back in a blue long-sleeve shirt, straight-leg jeans and a pair of sneakers with black leather uppers and white soles.

A black ball cap completed his casual outfit.

He carried a grey sweatshirt over his right shoulder, while he held son Jack in the crook of his left arm.

Jack, meanwhile, seemed to embrace his dad's basic style cues, opting for a simple grey t-shirt, denim shorts and black and green trainers with white socks.

Both seemed to be in good spirits as they made their way across the parking lot to the theater.

With dad and son out of the house, it looked as though Anna Faris decided to venture out on her own adventure.

She was seen doing a bit of shopping in some very low-ley lounge wear.

The 39-year-old House Bunny star donned a white zip-up hoodie, grey graphic tee, purple, fuzzy fleece pants and some tan slip-on sneakers for her excursion.

Anna looked mostly fresh-faced, opting for just some nude lipstick and subtle eye-shadow, before she covered her visage in some large classic shades.

As she made her way back to her vehicle, she carried both her purchases and a small black wallet in her left hand.
