Miley Cyrus has the right 'cattitude' in paw print jacket while out for dinner with Liam Hemsworth as wedding rumours persist

Miley Cyrus had a very conspicuous diamond-encrusted gold band on THAT left hand finger earlier in the day.

The 23-year-old pop star was still wearing the ring - along with a subdued satisfied look - as she stepped out for dinner in Malibu, California with Liam Hemsworth, 26, on Friday night.

Miley let her platinum hair down while clad in a whimsical paw print cardigan boasting a big 'MEOW' in back, which went well with the 'Cattitude' sticker on the rear of her car.

She wore a thigh-skimming outfit that exposed her legs and she had on comfortable, checkerboard-print slip-on sandals.

Liam looked casual too in faded jeans, a grey T-shirt and a navy denim jacket, adding trendy canvas trainers.

The couple looked totally relaxed as they entered SoHo House, the members-only hangout overlooking the ocean in Malibu, and emerged a while later to head home.

The Bangerz singer was driving the car and it was then that she flashed the sparkler on her left wedding finger.

Just that afternoon, Miley had that ring on while grabbing lunch with Liam - and it grabbed attention too because that hand was bare just days ago.

It's not the diamond ring that the Australian movie star gave her back in 2012, but it seems to mean that their engagement and marriage plans are back on.

The pair called off their engagement in 2013 but reconciled last year.

Although some reports said that Miley and Liam plan to wed in the autumn, People revealed this week that the couple are in no rush.

'Miley and Liam are still planning to get married,' a source close to Miley told People. 'They are still working out details though and don't have a date.'

The source added that Miley and Liam have multiple projects going on at the moment and 'don't seem rushed at all.'

The couple are living close by in separate homes in an effort to 'rebuild their relationship,' according to People. 

Meanwhile, Miley is working on her sixth studio album and looking forward to taking her judge's seat on The Voice as Gwen Stefani's replacement. 

Season 11 of The Voice premieres on September 19 with newcomer Alicia Keys and series regulars Blake Shelton and Adam Levine.
