The duo, who were first romantically linked back in 2012, were pictured having a casual dinner at Palms restaurant in Hollywood on Wednesday.

It comes three months after the That 70's Show actor split with girlfriend of six years Demi Lovato.

It was a low-key outing as both actors wore ripped jeans and trainers.

Wilmer, 36, carried some to-go boxes as he showed off his toned physique in a black t-shirt.

The Friday Night Lights star, also 36, kept it casual in a polka dot sweater and left her hair down.

The brunette beauty split from baseball star Derek Jeter in 2012 after three years together.

Demi, 24, took to Instagram in May to announce her split from Wilmer, writing: 'After almost 6 loving and wonderful years together, we have decided to end our relationship.
