The crash, which happened as cameras rolled in Glamis, California, left Tamra Judge and Vicki Gunvalson needing to be airlifted to hospital.

In the trailer, the day started off as a bit of fun with Tamra jumping behind the wheel and Vicki and Heather Dubrow fighting over who gets front seat, with Kelly Dodd content to sit in the back.

The women are even warned about the possibility of a crash by Tamra's brother, Kenny, to be careful as a rollover is possible.

Making sure his sister's friends understand, he said: 'If this thing goes over, the last thing you want to do is stick your hand out.'

While Tamra laughs it off and tells the women their arm will get snapped off, Heather inquires further.

'What do you mean if it goes over? Don't say that!'

But she does not have too much time to worry, as Tamra speeds off at speed taking on the big sand dunes with lots of swearing and screaming from her passengers.

In a piece to camera Heather said, at first, it was a lot of fun: 'Being in this ATV feels like a roller coaster. I love it, it's part of the fun.'

Tamra, who has been loving the ride and even led to one of the women inquiring, 'This doesn't scare you at all huh?', suddenly gets concerned as she comes to the top of the sand dune.

The 49-year-old sounds panicked as the head up a big dune: 'Oh s**t, I'm scared.'

The ATV fails to make it all the way over of the crest and flies over the side of the dune instead.

Getting some air, the vehicle comes down on just wheels on one side, causing it to dig into the sand and flip back down the hill.

The women's heads snap back and forth while Kelly's helmet flies off as sand swirls around them.

The clip ends as the ATV rights itself, the roof torn, and the screaming suddenly and eerily goes silent.

While the clip cuts there with the rest of the incident to be shown Monday, at the time, it was revealed the group were hurt in the accident.

Both Tamra and Vicki had to airlifted to hospital, with Vicki vomiting and experiencing numbness in her fingers.

Posting on social media after the crash, Tamra said: 'Thank you for your prayers and concerns. We are both beat up but very lucky to be alive. I've never been so scared in my life. As the driver I have an overwhelming amount of guilt and just happy that the 4 of us are alive.'
