'We're doing some stuff together': Jennifer Lopez reveals ANOTHER project with ex Marc Anthony is in the works after 'awesome' stage reunion

Jennifer Lopez sent fans into overdrive when she joined her ex-husband Marc Anthony on stage at Radio City Music Hall in New York City last week.

And on Thursday the 47-year-old singer and actress told Extra she too was pleased with crooning the duet No Me Ames with the iconic Latin singer, who is also 47. 'It was awesome,' the All I Have Las Vegas performer said. 'It was so moving, it was great.'

The Bronx native added that the reunion is the start of something special: The beauty let slip she will be working with Marc again soon.

When they were still on: Lopez and Anthony tied the knot in June 2004 and announced their split in July 2011 after seven years of marriage; here they are seen in 2007 on tour together

'We’re talking about doing some stuff together… We don’t have anything to announce at this moment, but soon,' said the Booty singer. 

The Maid In Manhattan star also told Extra's Angie Martinez how the reunion came about.  

'He came to my show in Vegas, to see it; we’ve been talking about doing something,' said the Shades Of Blue actress.

This is how it happened: The perfume mogul added: 'He said, "I’m doing Radio City, will you do one of the nights with me?" I was like, "Yeah, I’ll be in New York, I can do it," so it just worked out really well'

Her little ones: J-Lo especially liked that their two children, twins Max and Emme, were in the audience

'I don’t think they remember the last time; they were little… It was awesome. They just sat there and they were hearing the crowd… It was so moving… It was great.'

Lopez and Anthony tied the knot in June 2004 and announced their split in July 2011 after seven years of marriage. 

Marc filed for divorce the following April and the divorce was finalised in 2014.

In a interview with W Magazine which was published in April, Jennifer admitted that at times she found it 'too hard' to be amicable with Marc after their marriage split.

'When it comes to work, I never get tired. But with personal failures, I have thought, This is too hard,' she confessed. 'When my marriage ended, it was not easy to find forgiveness.'

'It wasn’t the dream that I had hoped for, and it would have been easier to fan the flames of resentment, disappointment, and anger.'

Her TV gig: Shades Of Blue comes back for season two next year. Lopez told Extra the show 'starts off with a bang,' but that she could not disclose any details

She added: 'But Marc is the father of my children, and that’s never going away. So, I have to work to make things right. And that is, by far, the hardest work I do.'

Marc went on to marry Shannon de Lima in 2014.

Meanwhile, last week Jennifer's split from her 29-year-old boyfriend Casper Smart was confirmed. She and her former backup dancer had begun dating in 2011, only to separate briefly in 2014 and then reignite their relationship until the current breakup.

According to TMZ , the Out Of Sight star ended the relationship after the choreographer opted to spend Saturday night at UFC 202, rather than the benefit in the Hamptons she'd asked him to attend with her.

The actress shared a snap of herself on Friday during a break from filming Shades of Blue, in which she posed beside street art that read, 'Protect Yo Heart.'  

Shades Of Blue comes back for season two next year. Lopez told Extra the show 'starts off with a bang,' but that she could not disclose any details.
