Vogue's British team are barred from show screening over revelation British editor Alexandra Shulman stole a Rihanna exclusive from America to cheat Anna Wintour

The cat has been set among the pigeons at Vogue HQ, following my news that the British editor-in-chief, Alexandra Shulman, did the dirty on her U.S. rival Anna Wintour.

Shulman had secured Rihanna as cover girl for her May issue. But after discovering Wintour intended to put the pop star on the cover of American Vogue's April issue, she dumped supermodel Kate Moss as the UK April cover girl at the last minute and replaced her with Rihanna to rob la Wintour of her world exclusive.

Word now reaches me that just hours after I reported their rift will be exposed in a forthcoming BBC Vogue documentary, Shulman's team were blocked from last night's in-house screening of the show.

Yesterday morning, emails were fired out in a hurry to staff, reminding them the preview was for contributors only. The Beeb still has time to cut any reference to the rivalry in the documentary, which airs in a week's time.

A BBC spokesman tells me: 'The preview is not a final version and the commentary is still being finalised.'

Disgraced Duke 'threatened to kill neighbour's family'

Alexander Montagu, 53, faces charges of  burglary and is in custody in Las Vegas

Can the reputation of the twice-jailed, thrice-married 13th Duke of Manchester plunge any lower?

Currently behind bars in Las Vegas, 53-year-old Alexander Montagu faces charges of burglary — as I revealed following his arrest in July — as well as making a false police report, having alleged that his third wife, Laura, assaulted him with a knife.

If found guilty, he could face up to 14 years in jail.

But now I can disclose how he waged a horrifying campaign of intimidation against Tina and Jason Ballensky when they moved into the Las Vegas apartment directly below his earlier this year. The Duke immediately made his presence felt. ‘He jumped up and down on the ceiling so hard that a piece of our ceiling fell off,’ Tina, 37, tells me. Then the Duke — whose first wife fled from him after he allegedly fired a speargun at her — began to stalk Tina.

‘He would take pictures of my car and tell me that he’s watching me go to pick up my 13-year-old daughter from school,’ says Tina

Worse was to follow. ‘He told my husband he was going to shoot him in the head. We called the cops.’

However, the Duke kept the police out. ‘He answered the door with a chain in his hand and slammed the door in the cops’ face.’

Shortly afterwards, the tyres on the Ballenskys’ Toyota were slashed.

Confronted by Tina’s husband, the Duke denied responsibility. ‘He said: “I would have put phosphorus in your gas tank and blown you up” ’ — the first in a series of threats against Mr Ballensky. Tina adds: ‘He told Jason: “I’m dying to kill you. I want five minutes alone in a room with you.” Then he said: “I’m going to kill your wife and children — and make you watch.” ’

In the days that followed, the Ballenskys saw the Duke prowling outside, variously armed with a knife or a gun.

‘My husband said it was a 9mm,’ says Tina, who adds that the couple left their apartment in June after their attorney advised that eviction proceedings against the Duke would take months.

By the time they secured a restraining order against him, he had been arrested for alleged burglary.

Even with the Duke in custody, Tina remains understandably uneasy. ‘I watch where I go and who’s around me. Still.’

Jumpin' Ronnie Flash!

Becoming a father again has apparently injected a new lease of life into wrinkly rocker Ronnie Wood.

Earlier this week, the 69-year-old Rolling Stone proved yet again that he has no plans to act his age after jumping off a felled tree while sporting a pair of bright red and yellow trainers.

While Ronnie — whose wife Sally Humphreys, 38, gave birth to their twin girls Gracie and Alice in May — appeared to be enjoying himself, fans on social media failed to hide their concern and responded by telling him to be careful.
