Norway's Princess Mette-Marit sports an elegant braided hairstyle as she holds hands with husband Prince Haakon at Venice Film Festival
They've been married for 15 years and Norway's Crown Princess Mette-Marit and Crown Prince Haakon are as happy as ever.
The royal couple attended the Venice Film Festival together on Friday, where they were spotted holding hands on arrival.
Mette-Marit, 43, was the picture of elegance in a lilac midi dress, which she paired with stylish sandals.

She wore her blonde locks back off her face in a chic braided upstyle.
Mette-Marit carried a two-tone handbag and was spotted chatting to other revellers at the event.

Her handsome husband, also 43, was dapper in a tuxedo with a velvet jacket.
In the years following her 2001 wedding to Prince Haakon, Mette-Marit has become widely respected for her charity work.
At the time of her wedding, the princess was the single mother of a four-year-old son named Magnus, but has since had another two children, Princess Ingrid Alexandra and Prince Sverre Magnus with her husband.

The princess has been a special representative for UNAIDS, a branch of the UN that focuses on dealing with HIV and AIDS.
She also joined the Norwegian aid agency NORAD as an intern, and is a patron of several Norwegian charities, including the Oslo International Church Music Festival and the Norwegian Scouting Association.

And in 2013, she auctioned her old clothes online for charity.
Writing on the website Bloppis, the Norwegian answer to eBay, Mette-Marit spoke of the importance of reusing old clothes as she explained her choice of Norwegian charity, Miljoagentene.
'Many of our clothes can be reused rather than discarded,' she wrote, adding: 'Protect the environment in a fun and easy way.'
