Amy Adams turns heads in a figure-hugging black dress with matching blazer as she steps out at the Venice Film Festival
On Thursday night, she lit up the red carpet in a breathtaking black gown as she and co-star Jeremy Renner attended the premiere of their new movie Arrival.
And on Friday, Amy Adams, 42, continued to exude glamour as she stepped out on the promotional trail for her film Nocturnal Animals at the Venice Film Festival.
The Italian-born actress looked smart in a figure-hugging black dress, which she teamed with a matching blazer, as she disembarked from a water taxi in Lido.

Chatting with fashion designer Tom Ford, who directed her film, the redhead beauty added an extra touch of Hollywood glamour with a pair of cat eye sunglasses.
Her signature strawberry blonde tresses were worn straight, resting about her shoulders and slightly obscuring her sparkling blue chandelier earrings.
As day four of the festival gets underway, Amy was joined at the photocall by her co-stars, including Jake Gyllenhaal and Aaron Taylor-Johnson.

And while the festival opened with the lauded unveiling of Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling's La La Land, Amy shone brightly on Thursday at her Arrival premiere.

Amy plays a linguist in the movie about mysterious spacecraft landing on earth, while Jeremy stars as a mathematician with the duo forming part of an elite team to investigate the phenomena.
Earlier, the pair promoted the film at a press event where they discussed the new film, which is already attracting positive reviews from critics.
'Playing a mathematician and a physicist is a bit far from an archer,' Jeremy Renner joked to The Hollywood Reporter, referring to his Hawkeye in the Avengers films. 'So I thought there's a pretty great challenge in that.'

Meanwhile, Amy revealed that she was attracted to the diversity of the role.
'So many women that I know sort of move through life with great intelligence and they have so many different roles in their life,' she said.
'She didn't feel strange to me. She felt like every woman I know who's struggling with hard things, who's working through personal issues while also heading out into the world and handling life and work. It's a constant balance. It's a constant juggling act.'
