Going, going gone! Chinese actress Liang Ke falls in style on the Venice Film Festival red carpet
It's the stuff of nightmares to fall flat on your face in front of the world's cameras on the red carpet.
And unfortunately, it was a reality for one Venice Film Festival attendee Liang Ke as she tripped in full view of the public and flashing cameras at the The Light Between Two Oceans premiere on Thursday.
The Chinese actress appeared to find issue with her elegant emerald gown's incredibly long train as she dropped to her knees in plain sight.

The actress teetered down the stylish red carpet in a towering black peep toed platform stiletto when her heel caught in her show-stopping strapless fishtail ensemble at the Sala Grand.
Desperately holding onto her crystal embellished clutch as she fell closer and closer to the carpet, the raven-haired beauty had the luxury of having two strapping men to catch her before she could fully face-plant on the walkway.
Worst of all, the embarrassing moment was caught frame by frame as shrieked in horror slowly falling to the floor.

Forgetting to take off the labels of her outrageously high platforms, the star elegantly made her way up - while her handlers appropriately fixed her glamorous gown back into place so she could once again be camera ready.
Once back on her feet, the actress aghast stuck her tongue out of her mouth urging for a drink from a male companion as she displayed her eye-catching art-deco inspired drop earrings.

Liang Ke was on the red carpet for Michael Fassbender and Alicia Vikander's new film The Light Between Two Oceans which is based on the 2012 novel of the same name by M. L. Stedman.
In the flick, the two play a lighthouse keeper and his wife living off the coast of Western Australia just after World War I.
The couple end up rescuing and adopting a baby girl who washes up on a boat before a chance encounter on the mainland threatens everything they hold dear.
