Suki Waterhouse has swapped high end style for high street fashion to become the face of New Look's latest campaign.

But the 24-year-old says that the pieces she modelled including sheer frilled blouses, mini skirts and a bomber jacket inscribed her with her name reflect her own style.

'I've always liked the play on girly and sweet, mixed with a sense of randomness,' she said.

The outfit above is made up of Blouse, £12.99 and Skirt, £17.99

The model, who is about to launch her own accessories line, Pop & Suki, with her best friend TV presenter Poppy Jamie, added that she's drawn to Sixties-influenced style.

'It was dorky in the 1960s, and sexy but not overtly so. People are too put together these days, there's not enough weird going on,' she said.

'Sometimes if I put an outfit on Instagram some people will comment going: "Ooh the bag and the dress doesn't go" - well maybe I didn't care that they didn't. I almost like the ugly in fashion.'

And it seems Suki's style icons reflect her attitude as she name-checks Cate Blanchett because 'she seems like the most intelligent person in the world' and then 'you always have to go back to Kate Moss too, because she's Kate Moss.'

When it comes to getting one part of her beauty routine down it's all about her voluminous blonde locks. 'Always big up the hair,' she said.

'Always mess it up more. Always make a lot of mess getting ready.

'Nothing too put together. Just look at yourself in the mirror before you go out and be like 'Yes!' Then crack yourself a smile on the way out.'

The Cami, modelled by Suki, comes in at £9.99 and the Jeans are priced at £24.99

Suki has starred in film Pride and Prejudice and Zombies as well as modelled for Burberry and Redken. She is also about to launch her own accessories line Pop & Suki

The collection is called 'New Season Style Rules' and launches on the 22nd August

But for someone who counts Cara Delevingne and Georgia May Jagger in her inner circle, the last thing she needs to worry about is how trendy she is.

In fact, she said: 'You might look cool, but that doesn't mean you are. I think cool people are those who teach you things - something I don't know already. That's what I'm after in life.'

When it comes to New Look, Suki showcases their must-have items including a khaki wool mix coat, Victorian white blouse, acid wash jeans, textured knitwear, velvets and checks.

The high street store is later set to highlight its denim collection.
