But Ben Affleck was left with daddy duties as he headed to mass with his three kids - daughters Violet, 10, Seraphina, aged seven, and his four-year-old son Samuel.

The 44-year-old actor stepped in for Jennifer Garner, as she is in Colorado for the world premiere of her drama Wakefield, at the Telluride Film Festival.

The two-time Academy Award-winning actor was ever the doting dad and did not let Garner's absence halt his children's spiritual routine.

Affleck looked hunky as ever as he sported a bit of scruff while keeping a close eye on his little ones.

He donned a black leather bomber jacket layered over an olive green tee with casual blue trousers and beige sneakers.

Little Samuel wore a bright red shirt with yellow suspenders and grey puffer jacket with matching bottoms, which he finished with Velcro trainers.

Affleck's eldest daughter, Violet led the way in a jean skirt with knit grey vest paired with a long-sleeved black shirt and white sandals.

The father-of-three has been away shooting Justice League in the UK but it was his turn to entertain his kids for the weekend while their mom was out of town.

Despite announcing their intention to divorce over a year ago, the pair have not yet officially ended their marriage and continue to co-parent their children.
