Washington State University student, 18, is 'raped at fraternity house and another, 17, hospitalized after drinking alcohol there'

  • Police searched the property Saturday and interviewed a possible suspect
  • He was not arrested pending further investigation

An 18-year-old student was raped at a Washington State University fraternity house, while another - 17 - was hospitalized after drinking alcohol there, cops say.

The 18-year-old told police on Friday evening that she had been given alcohol and then raped at the Delta Upsilon fraternity house 815 NE Ruby Street.

And on Saturday cops interviewed a girl who was reportedly hospitalized after drinking alcohol at the same frat house, The Seattle Times reported.

Investigators searched the Delta Upsilon house on Saturday afternoon and identified and interviewed a possible suspect.

However, he was not arrested, pending further investigation. 

The WSU's Office of Student Conduct has been notified of the police investigations. 

The alleged rape victim was also treated at Pullman Regional Hospital.
