Nicki Minaj's hairdresser keeps every one of the singer's hairs - and apparently, fans - in their place.

An incident Saturday on a New Jersey-to-Los Angeles flight so much as proved that, as police told TMZ that the Starships singer's hairdresser confiscated a phone from a girl sitting in the row behind them, believing that the passenger was trying to take unauthorized shots of the 33-year-old Grammy-nominated singer.

Once the phone was in their possession, the hairdresser began deleting images from the photos app, at which point the passenger snatched the phone back, according to the outlet.

Not a hair out of place: A hairdresser for Nicki Minaj leapt to the singer's defense on a plane ride Saturday, grabbing a phone out of the hand of a female passenger they believed was taking secret shots of the 33-year-old pop star

The passenger was furious about the incident and stated her intent to contact authorities about the mid-air melee, insiders told the website.

When the plane finally landed on the West Coast, police spoke with all parties involved in the matter, but did not take anyone into custody in connection with the incident.

The drama in the not-so-friendly skies capped off a busy week for the Truffle Butter artist, who released new song The Pinkprint Freestyle on Sunday and has been busy promoting her latest work, a collaboration with Ariana Grande on her sexy single Side to Side.

Grande and the Queens, New York native delivered a steamy performance of the track at Madison Square Garden during last week's MTV Video Music Awards, that left the crowd hot and bothered.

Nicki, who's dating 29-year-old Philadelphia rapper Meek Mill, wore a tight pink bodysuit and thigh-highs that showcased her impressive rear end.

The randy live set culminated in an especially X-rated ending, with Nicki and Ariana using the heads of male dancers who accompanied them as props for their suggestive simulations.

The official video for the clip, which was released following the VMAs, didn't prove any less provocative, showing Nicki and Ariana wearing swimsuits in a sauna setting, surrounded by chiseled male models.

Grande, speaking with KIIS-FM this past spring, gushed praise for the irreverent pop star, who she previously worked with on the 2014 tracks Bang Bang and Get On Your Knees.
