Daisy recently revealed that she is appearing on Strictly in honour of her late grandfather.

The model - who found out she was partnered with Aljaž Skorjanec on Saturday night's show - lost her grandad from a heart attack last week, on the same day she began rehearsals for the BBC show.

Speaking to The Mirror, she revealed: 'I’m going to be dancing for him. I’d quite like to dance to some of his favourite songs, too.'

The brunette beauty also revealed that her grandfather Eddie Davis - who died at the age of 82 - was a big fan of the dancing competition as she confessed she had been speaking to him about the series the night before.

'He was so excited about me doing the show,' she said.

Daisy discovered the news of her grandfather's death inside the rehearsal studio, where she was surrounded by her fellow contestants.

'It was pretty tough and thank God I had Lou [Louise Redknapp]. She made it all better,' she explained.
