Quirky mime performer Tape Face sails through as viewers vote him into finals of America's Got Talent

He doesn't have much physical skill, and he never uses his voice, but it seems that America can't get enough of Tape Face.

The quirky performer sailed through to the finals of America's Got Talent, alongside favorites Grace VanderWaal, Sal Valentinetti Jon Dorenbos, and Laura Bretan.

Tape Face doesn't speak, so when asked by host Nick Cannon how it felt to advance, the mime artist set off a party popper in response.

After a public vote the three bottom acts were pious family musicians Edgar, the bizarre Tape Face and 14-year-old opera singer Laura Bretan.

The bidding was close with less than 200 votes separating the top two acts.

Simon apologised, while looking at Laura, one of his favorite acts.
