The 69-year-old beauty looked to be having a nice time with a hunky male companion as the duo caught the U.S. Open in the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Queens, New York on Monday.

In the outing, the Mothers and Daughters beauty wore a simple dark outfit, while her male friend was clad in a white T-shirt with sunglasses hanging from the collar and shorts. The debonair gent sported a nicely-combed coif with a bit of stubble.

Sarandon's male friend sported a 'flashy body,' a source told the New York Post, adding that there were subtle physical cues from both that indicated a romance could be brewing.

'They weren’t overly affectionate, but they were chatting, and she would occasionally touch her hair and smile,' the source told the paper. 'It seemed like this could be something new, but Susan was definitely playing it cool.'

While the two parted ways in the spring of 2015, the two seemed to be keeping the channels open for a potential rekindled romance - until he began seeing Pablo Picasso's 64-year-old granddaughter Marina, the New York Daily News reported.

The veteran actress seemed skeptical of trying her hand with the dating apps such as Tinder and Hinge, unsure if she really wanted to take her love life in a digital direction.

'I'm a New Yorker, I've always lived here, but one of the reasons that I love New York is that the serendipity is just so thick here, so you can go out on the street and just see things you didn't count on,' she said. 'And you don't have to swipe left or right.'
