American Idol alum Brooke White and husband Dave Ray welcomed their second child, Sonny John on Saturday.

The singer - who underwent IVF treatments after struggling to conceive - posted a breathtaking black and white Instagram snapshot of her newborn son.

'Look who finally had a baby! ...couldn't be more obsessed with our butterball!' the 33-year-old beauty gushed over her tiny infant.

'We are so pleased to introduce you to our not so little - little man, Sonny John Ray,' she captioned the photo of herself cradling her baby alongside her hunky hubby.

She continued: 'Pushed him out yesterday 9/3/16 at 7:08 pm at a whopping 9lbs 9oz and 22 in! He's alert and amazing and already giving us smiles.'

Brooke met Dave when she was only 19 and married in April 2004. They also share a four-year-old daughter named London.

'Can't wait for him to meet his big sister,' the blonde beauty added. 'So grateful! More details to come on his birth, but I gotta feed a hungry kid!'

Brooke - who was the fifth place finalist on the seventh season of American Idol - revealed her pregnancy back in February, thanks to the IVF treatments.

The singer-songwriter took to Instagram to share the amazing news with her fans, posting a sonogram of the tiny fetus.

'Meet our handsome little dude, due Sept. 2! It’s hard to believe it’s even real… Cause, WHEW, it’s been a process. infertility is hard,' she wrote.

But the couple discovered Brooke suffered from secondary infertility when they wanted to expand their family. So they tried in vitro fertilisation.

'IVF is downright crazy,' Brooke dished. 'I’ve been a hormonal mess for several months, but it’s totally worth it, because it finally worked.'

'Hallelujah! Yes! We are so happy, we are so thankful, Yes, I have a million thoughts and feelings about this journey, cause my heart is humbled and very tender for this struggle and the many women I’ve come to know through it.'
