Leggy Penny Lancaster protects her modesty as she elegantly exits car before joining her Loose Women pals at TV Choice Awards

She's become something of a hit as a regular guest panellist on Loose Women.

And Rod Stewart's model wife Penny Lancaster, 45, made sure all eyes were on her as she made her arrival at the TV Choice Awards at London's Dorchester hotel on Monday night.

Looking very leggy in a black waterfall dress, Penny made sure she exited her car with grace, avoiding a wardrobe malfunction ahead of the event.

Placing her hand over the front of her dress, the beautiful blonde wore a beaming smile as she went to support her co-stars.

She added a rock chick vibe to her plunging semi-sheer dress, with an edgy leather jacket complete with studs and cinched in her waist with a wide belt.

And she added some inches to her statuesque frame, with a  pair of stunning statement heels.

With her blonde locks tied up, she carried a cute little clutch bag in her hand.

While Rod was not present on the night, Penny no doubt had fun with her gal pals after Loose Women sadly lost out to This Morning for Best Daytime show.

Once inside, she was pictured posing with the likes of Janet Street-Porter, Coleen Nolan, Nadia Sawalha and Andrea McLean.

She also shared the lens with Kaye Adams, Katie Price, Linda Robson and Sherrie Hewson.

It's been a special day for Sherrie, 65, as she bid farewell to the show after 14 years earlier on in the day, breaking down in tears as she did so.

She continued on Monday: 'My fourteen years have got me though those very, very bad times.

'To the audience, who has cared about me and cared about my family. These girls are what it's all about. This is the most wonderful show to be a part of.'

Sherrie shared her final show with Andrea McLean, Coleen Nolan and Nadia Sawalha on the day, but they had plenty of faces ready to surprise Sherrie, too.
