Chance The Rapper sang happy birthday to Beyonce at his performance on Sunday night.

The 23-year-old rapper serenaded the pop star for her 35th birthday as she and Jay Z were in the crowd at the Made in America concert in Philadelphia.

'Auntie it's your birthday, happy birthday Yonce,' he sang from the stage.

Beyonce appeared to be embarrassed by the shout-out, smiling and then burying her head in her husband's back as the crowd joined in on the birthday song.

The Lemonade superstar then laughed and raised her hands in the air to applaud Chance after he finished singing.

Beyonce wore her long blonde hair back in a half-updo with an emerald green top, and Jay Z wore a baseball cap and held a cigar as they took in the show.

Summer Friends rapper Chance later took to Twitter to share his inspiration - a clip of the classic The Simpsons episode with Michael Jackson singing Happy Birthday to Lisa.

'The inspiration for my @Beyonce birthday song last night,' he wrote.

Chance wasn't the only celebrity wishing Beyonce a happy 35th on Sunday.

Also at the festival was Coldplay, and singer Chris Martin - who Beyonce teamed up with on Hymn For The Weekend - told the crowd: 'We want to say happy birthday to Mrs. Carter who is out here somewhere.'

He joked: 'Can you believe she is 107 years old? Happy birthday Bey.'

Reality star Kim Kardashian also led tributes, posting a Snapchat video of herself as a bee and singing Happy Birthday to the pop star, who has worked with Kim's husband Kanye West.

Kim and Beyonce were last seen hanging out together, along with their husbands Jay Z and Kanye West, after the MTV Video Music Awards on August 28.

Superstar Mariah Carey also shared a photo of herself with the Lemonade singer as she wished Beyonce a happy 35th and sent her 'love and respect.'

'Happy Birthday to the beautiful Queen Bey!' wrote Mariah.

Actress Jessica Alba also took to social media to wish Beyonce a happy birthday and praise the Hold Up singer as an inspiration.

'You have shown fearlessness in your journey as an artist to evolve and have inspired all of us to push ourselves outside of our comfort zone to find our individual voice,' wrote Jessica.

'Thank you for being you,' she added.
