In Dubious battle - directed by James - also stars Selena Gomez, Bryan Cranston, Josh Hutcherson, and Nat Wolff and is an onscreen adaptation of the 1936 novel by John Steinbeck.

Set during the Great Depression, In Dubious Battle tells the story of migrant apple pickers in California who are in a dispute with the local growers association.

The film is scheduled for release on September 3.
