Tyga has been reunited with his Ferrari after having it repossessed last week.

The rapper took the red sports car for a spin in Los Angeles, after the vehicle was repossessed earlier this week and then returned to him after his team threatened legal action.

The 26-year-old - who has previously faced lawsuits over unpaid rent - wore a red jacket and distressed jeans while out shopping in Beverly Hills on Sunday.

The Rack City rapper has possession of the car again after the repo drama, and sources relayed a very convoluted story toTMZ about the ordeal.

Insiders explained that another man had leased the Ferrari, but because the car is so rare, he could only get the vehicle if he bought another car from the dealership that wouldn't be available for six months.

The unnamed man struck a deal with Tyga, who agreed to take the Ferrari in the meantime and pay the lease until the other car became available, and then he would return it.

Things got more complicated when the man who leased the car relied on someone else, who then relied on someone else, to make the down payment - but the cheque bounced.

The Ferrari dealership then pressured Tyga's lease-signing pal, who then demanded the down payment from the 26-year-old star.

Though the rapper paid up, the money never made it to the dealership.

The car was then repossessed by the man who had originally leased the Ferrari, but after Tyga's team threatened him with legal action, he returned the vehicle to the rapper.

Despite the messy dispute, Tyga's girlfriend Kylie Jenner had suggested she had tricked her boyfriend into thinking the car had been repossessed so she could buy him a new set of wheels.

In a series of Snapchat posts, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star explained how she hired someone to hide Tyga's Ferrari before surprising him with the Bentley.

In one Snapchat video, Kylie said: 'The blogs almost ruined it, they said me and T were at the Bentley dealership when really it was only me.'

'I had to lie to T and say "I have no idea T what the story is I was not at a Bentley dealership," but I was.'

Tyga also took to Snapchat to express his gratitude for the new car, explaining that he couldn't stay mad at his 'baby' for playing a joke on him.

The caption on one photo read: 'When ur lil baby cops u the Bentley truck and hides your Ferrari. Guess I can't be mad.'

The Bentley model is the manufacturer's SUV, the Bentayga, which starts off at a cool $299,100.

The joke was quite believable, as the Ride Out musician has been in financial trouble previously, and has reportedly had a number of cars repossessed before.

Last week, the rapper was made to pay a six-figure sum to a landlord in Los Angeles, whose building he rented as an office.

The landlord said Tyga poured ink down the drain and left without giving notice.
