She was due back on TV screens in a matter of hours.

So, as the clock struck midnight, breakfast TV queen Susanna Reid made like Cinderella and split from Monday night's TV Choice Awards, careful to negotiate her sexy dress as she made a beeline for the car.

Good Morning Britain's Susanna, 45, slipped into a taxi outside The Dorchester, narrowly avoiding a wardrobe malfunction as the daring side-split threatened to overexpose her long legs.

And while the daytime TV presenter is partial to a quirky floral dress or a stylish midi skirt for her show, Susanna was oozing sex appeal by night.

She hit the red carpet that night in a stunning scarlet gown that she lead into the venue in black stilettos.

The brunette beauty rocked the magenta column gown to perfection, which nipped in her trim waist.

Despite the demure floor-skimming length, the design featured a racy thigh-high split and a Bardot neckline.

The rich claret hue offset her bronzed complexion and brunette locks as she posed up a storm.
