It's one of the most illustrious awards ceremonies of the year, and never fails to attract the biggest and brightest stars from across the A-List. So it was no surprise to see some of the most famous female stars in the world gracing the red carpet at the GQ Men of the Year Awards 2016 at the Tate Modern, in London, on Tuesday evening. Battling it out for the title of style queen at the lifestyle magazine's 19th annual awards ceremony, (Left - Right) Ashley Graham, Bella Hadid, Daisy Lowe and Ellie Goulding all put their most fashionable foot forward.

Lord and Lady Edward Manners (inset) and their toddler sons will be moving into the Tudor manor house Haddon Hall (pictured), in Bakewell, Derbyshire, parts of which date back to the 11th century. The home, described as being one of the most romantic in the UK, has featured in several film adaptations of Jane Eyre, the film Elizabeth, the 2005 film Pride and Prejudice, The Other Boleyn Girl and the Princess Diaries. It is just three miles from Chatsworth House and lay empty from 1700 until the 1920s when it was restored by the 9th Duke and Duchess of Rutland.

Jan Rees (left aged 12 and inset left collecting her OBE), from Bromsgrove, failed the 11-plus and became a millionaire. Her friend Audrie Burton (right in the 1950s and inset right today) passed the exam and became a receptionist. Mrs Burton writes: 'I was happy, although I could never quite shake off the feeling that I hadn't fulfilled my potential. At the same time, I believe there are different kinds of success and they don't all pass through grammar schools. So to all the parents and children worrying about the 11-plus this term, I would say that one look at Jan and me should tell you that where you end up at school isn't the be all and end all.'

My Perfect Eyes asserts that it can banish wrinkles in seconds. The claims of the £50 cream were so outlandish that its TV ads being reported to watchdogs. But remarkably, the Advertising Standards Authority has instead given the product the thumbs up. It ruled that the cream, which has fans including Sarah Jessica Parker (main) really does smooth out wrinkles around the eyes - although only temporarily. TV star Lee Nelson (inset left) managed to get up close to Sir Philip's Lionheart super yacht (main) and attach the sign from a propelled dinghy off Monaco. The comedian and his team sneaked up to the imposing ship after none of Lionheart's 28-strong crew spotted the approaching craft. Nelson tweeted: 'Good of Sir Philip Green to rename his £100m yacht to something more appropriate. I was glad to help.' Sir Philip (inset right) is being investigated by regulators probing BHS' £571million pension deficit. The troubled retailer finally closed last month - leaving thousands of staff jobless.

Mark McKenna, 38, was snared by The Hunted One group outside the Bluewater shopping centre near Dartford, Kent, in August. Wearing a red T-shirt and sunglasses, McKenna was filmed as the vigilantes confronted him about the explicit online conversations he had been having with what he thought was an 11-year-old girl. He pleaded guilty to a child sex offence at Maidstone Crown Court.

Krissoni Henderson (pictured with partner Danielle), 31, told Noor Alneaimi she was 'Satan' and called her a 'slut' before ordering her to take off her jeans while she was listening to a Christian preacher in Birmingham city centre on July 4, prosecutors claim. The victim, who was also a Muslim, said she was reduced to tears following the ten-minute tirade which attracted a crowd of 60 people and one man asked her: 'How much do you charge for the night?' Henderson and several others allegedly hurled pro-ISIS abuse at Ms Alneaimi, 38, which left her 'absolutely petrified'. Furious parent Sharon King referred to the strict new order as 'The Tate Regime' after students were turned away at the gate at Hartsdown Academy (pictured), Margate, on the first day of school under new headmaster Matthew Tate (inset). She claimed her son William, 11, wears black Nike trainers because he has joint pain after he had a hip replacement when he was injured in a car accident last year but was turned away from the gates on his first day. She added: 'The issue isn't the uniform, because I totally agree with it. The problem is that he handled it like a Gestapo.' Some parents claim that the uniform policy (right) did not make clear that black trainers would not be considered shoes, as they were last year.

The group posted a series of inflammatory tweets this afternoon (inset) as it responded to criticism over a six-hour stunt which saw nine activists chaining themselves to the runway (left) after sailing up to the airport in a dinghy. As photographs emerged of white men and women chained to a wooden tripod on the tarmac (left and right), alongside banners reading 'black lives matter', critics questioned why there were no black activists taking part in the protest. But this afternoon, UK Black Lives Matter defended the protest, citing it as an example of 'white allyship under black leadership'. Campaigner and journalist Wail Qasim, an activist with Black Lives Matter, said white people protesting had given black people a voice. He added: 'This shows the sort of responsibility that white people should be taking. They should be willing to put bodies on the line for black rights.' The mayhem began at 5.40am when nine protesters chained themselves to a tripod in the middle of the tarmac to campaign against the UK's 'racist climate change', cancelling dozens of flights and delaying several more.

No matter how uncomfortable his dark deeds might make the missionary massive, Vaz (left, in Parliament yesterday, and bottom right) has done nothing illegal, writes KATIE HOPKINS (top right). I believe if you make your living in the public eye, the press has every right to try and sneak into any bit of it. But equally, an individual has every right to conduct their private life as they please. It seems to me the only line Keith Vaz crossed is heading up the Home Affairs Committee, currently tasked with deciding on the legality of prostitution, without declaring his hand. Undoubtedly the press has every right to intrude. But, importantly, Mr Vaz has every right to refuse to be ashamed. The only pity in this sorry mess is he doesn't have the guts to say so.

Paul Stott (left recreating the incident and inset left), 51, was walking three-month-old Chihuahua called Dave (right) on Seaton Sluice Beach, Northumberland, when his girlfriend Kyla Holmes (inset right), 49, spotted the dog disappear into the sand. Isabelle Dinoire had a triangle of face tissue from a brain-dead woman's nose, chin and mouth transplanted in a 15-hour operation at Amiens Hospital, France, in 2005, after her pet labrador attacked her while she was unconscious from taking sleeping pills. She spent years taking immunosuppressant drugs to stop her body rejecting the transplant but which left her susceptible to cancer. Miss Dinoire, pictured before the attack (top inset), immediately after surgery (bottom inset) and in 2009 (main) admitted struggling with her identity for years after receiving the new facial features. Today, hospital officials confirmed she died in April, aged 49, following a long illness, believed to be cancer.

Newly-betrothed Pippa Middleton celebrates her 33rd birthday today and while she will no doubt be celebrating with her fiancé later on, she stepped out with her mother Carole on Tuesday afternoon. Pippa's £200,000 engagement ring was clearly on show, two months after she became betrothed to hedge fund manager James Matthews, who is the older brother of Made In Chelsea's Spencer.

Russian media said that the car was being driven by Putin's favourite official driver, and that he was killed instantly, but that the President was not in the vehicle at the time. The car is officially registered as belonging to the Federation Council, also known as the Russian Senate or Upper Chamber of Parliament.

Hannah Gavios (right), 23, got lost on pitch-black Railay Beach in the resort of Krabi when a local man who offered to show her the way to her hotel sexually assaulted her. 'I started punching him in the face and beating him up and biting off his ear. I was biting his ear so hard it almost came off. His ear was half torn off,' Ms Gavios said. She ran from him and feel off a cliff in the darkness. The man scrambled after her and sexually molested her again as she lay helpless. Eventually Ms Gavios, from New York, was saved (left) and rushed to hospital in Phuket.

The single mother from Glasgow has been on the waiting list for a double hand transplant for two years. She had both her hands and her legs amputated three years ago. Experts are trying to find suitable hands that match Ms Hutton's blood group, skin tone and hand size. In July, Chris King became the first person in the UK to have a double hand transplant at Leeds General Infirmary. The same surgeon, Professor Simon Kay, will lead on Ms Hutton's operation once a suitable donor has been found.

The debate was sparked by Unmumsy Mum author Sarah Turner, from Exeter, Devon, as she spoke about her last minute cleaning frenzy alongside a photo of a bunch of flowers in a Bacardi pitcher (right) ahead of her son Henry's home visit. Many of us will have walked past someone we think might be famous before turning to check if it's really them. And these joggers did a hilarious double take after running past Prince Charles as he walked in London today (above). The 67-year-old Prince of Wales was spotted strolling through Green Park, close to his home of Clarence House. Heir to the throne Charles was there to sow seeds for a wildflower meadow named in honour of the Queen. The royal joined school children to scatter yellow rattle flower seeds to start the new grassland. He began the Coronation Meadows campaign as a tribute to his mother to mark 60 years since she was crowned. The project, which was started by Charles in 2013, has created a new meadow in every county in Britain.

A baby, who is believed to be from the US, has gone viral on YouTube after her mother uploaded footage of her laughing like an 'evil genius'. The montage of the infant's laughter which sounds uncannily like a cartoon villain has been watched over 320,000 times. Her aunt Carrie Nieman posted on the video that, in fact, her niece's big brother taught her the distinctive giggle. One commenter added, 'Hope she can still do that laugh when she grows up. Hilarious.'

Crushing footage shows the agonising incident in South Africa. While the mother manages to escape, the calf was not so lucky. The lions tear into it and drag it away into bushes. While the mother attempted to stop the lions, she was no match for the giant cats. Gamekeeper Tarryn Rae said: ''It was heartbreaking to see the determination and the stress that this mother was going through. Once she had given up it was like the tables immediately turned.'

Seven Russian women stripped down to their underwear and asked motorists on a fast road for money to buy clothes as part of a workshop to help them find husbands. The bizarre incident took place at night in the city of Kazan in central Russia's Republic of Tatarstan. Footage made on a smartphone by one of the passers-by shows the bunch of women in their underwear asking for 100 RUB (1 GBP) per vehicle.

Footage shows a group of researchers standing on a mountain in Zanskar, India when an avalanche begins to pour down a nearby mountain, leading them to gasp. The terrifying behemoth makes its way all the way down the mountain. But one very brave researcher runs to a nearby rock to get a closer look of the avalanche, defying danger. It is not known if anyone was injured in the avalanche.

Many a mother coos over the first time her baby reacts to the sound of music and the owner of these adorable Alaskan Malamute puppies was no exception. Footage shows five pups sitting in the boot of a car. But when their owner begins to play some music they stand up and cock their heads. At one point they adorably move their heads to the beat of the rhythm, stopping dead still when their owner pauses the music.

The kitten can be heard purring loudly in the clip as she strokes his beard repeatedly, using one paw and then the other. She looks happy as the owner holds her up, allowing her to reach his facial hair. The video was filmed in Paulesti, Romania, and shared online.

The fight erupted on the Carnival Glory cruise ship, which left Miami on Saturday. The person recording the video can be heard to be shouting: 'Oh my God, no! Stop!' Around half a dozen people can be seen exchanging blows in the clip, with other passengers seemingly trying to break up the fight. At one point in the brawl, a man wearing a blue T-shirt is pushed to the ground (centre). It is not clear what caused the fight. The Carnival Glory cruise ship is sailing around the Caribbean for eight days.

Rescue teams reported smelling chlorine on the clothes of survivors who were suffering breathing difficulties after the latest suspected barrel bomb attacks in rebel-held Aleppo. Accusations involving the use of chlorine and other poisonous gases are not uncommon in the country's civil war, but both sides have denied using them.
