A photographer is turning to social media in hopes of identifying a newlywed couple he captured in a stunning picture while touring Yosemite.

Mike Karas of Hawaii was visiting the California national park on Saturday when he says he saw a bride and a groom embracing on a rocky ledge just as the sun was going down.

But the trail he was on wasn't near the couple, so he couldn't catch them to share the image.

Since then, he has posted the photo on his Instagram, and has asked for the public's help in identifying who the couple might be.

'I was just snapping away trying to get them,' Karas told the Oregonian on Sunday. 'It was just unbelievable. The sunset that night was awesome.'

If you know the couple in Karas' picture, he'd like you to contact him on his Instagram page.
