His ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift has broken up with Tom Hiddleston, who she started dating just two weeks after they called it quits.

And Calvin Harris made his feelings quite clear as he picked up the Patron Solo Artist Of The Year Award at the GQ Men of the Year Awards 2016, held at the Tate Modern in London on Tuesday evening.

Dressed in a slick three-piece suit, the 32-year-old DJ showed off his award as he posed up a storm with his pal Ellie Goulding, who presented him with the gong.

Taking to the stage, he said: 'I feel at 32 I'm nearing the end. Just kidding. 

'This week ten years ago was when I left Marks and Spencer Simply food in Clapham South where I carried out such tasks as date-rotating sandwiches and moving the salmon. 

'I'd like to dedicate this to my manager Mark Gillespie for being a fantastic man. We've been through a lot and discovered a lot this year,' as he referenced the furore surrounding his split from Taylor.

With his ensemble tailored to perfection on his muscular frame, the star showed off the results of his hard work for the year with the award.

Meanwhile, Calvin's former flame Taylor was spotted with a spring in her step across the pond in New York after ending her three month romance with British actor Tom. 

She reportedly felt 'uncomfortable' with the 35-year-old actor's desire to be 'so public' about their romance.

Tom had asked Taylor to the Emmy Awards later this month, but she began questioning whether he was with her for 'the right reasons' and ultimately decided to call off the romance.

'Tom wants their relationship to be public, even asking Taylor to go to the Emmys with him, but Taylor wants to keep her private life private,' the source revealed on Monday about the singer who had never walked the red carpet with a boyfriend before.

'Tom's need for their relationship to be so public so quickly makes her uncomfortable,' the insider told DailyMail.com.

'She tried to be OK with it in the beginning but fears he is in love with the idea of her and not falling in love with her for the right reasons.'

The source added: 'Taylor is an independent young woman and doesn't feel like she needs a boyfriend to make her complete.' 

This comes as somewhat of a surprise after the duo put on a very loved up display a mere two weeks after Taylor and Calvin broke up after 15 months together. 

After the demise of the relationship, things went south furthermore between the two with Calvin's song This is What You Came For reportedly being a sore point for them.

After Taylor's representatives confirmed the Love Story singer's involvement in the song, the Scottish-born DJ took to Twitter in a furious rant.

He initially complimented his ex girlfriend on her 'amazing' ability to pen smash hits after it was revealed she'd sat down and written the lyrics before sharing it with him while they were dating.

But his tweets quickly took a turn; he accused her of trying to tear him down and said he refused to let her 'bury' him like her frenemy Katy Perry.

'Please focus on the positive aspects of YOUR life because you've earned a great one.'

Calvin, whose real name is Adam Wiles, concluded: 'God bless everyone have a beautiful day.'
