This farmer in India ferries 1,000 from one place to another with just a makeshift flag made from a long stick and a piece of blue cloth, pictured. Stefan Pabst uses a range of paint brushes for what he calls '3D Drawing' using the trompe l'oeil technique - a French term literally translated to 'trick the eye' - to create his masterpieces. Free skier Alec Nelson, from California, suffered a blow that would make most men flinch with pain as he landed with one leg either side of a handrail he tried to ski down and crashes onto the ground. Video footage shows Alec sliding down, top left, before getting one ski over each side of the railing, right, dragging him onto the rail before he flips over it and lands on his back, bottom left. Alec had been practicing the trick for hours according to his friend.
